Good materials and assembly, you can take these for granted
I've purchased these in various lengths (but mostly 3-feet) first in 2011, then 2014, and now most recently March 2017. They are well-assembled of solid-looking materials. They have all been trouble-free - cables you simply don't need to worry about. The connectors plug & unplug with mild effort - good contact is being made without audiophile vice-like pretensions. In my most recent order, the cable itself (as identified by the inked codes) and the end-connectors (in terms of appearance) have both changed compared to my previous orders. Don't know if for better or worse - probably just routine supply chain management with identical specifications. However, the little red rings on the connectors (that say "Digital Audio") were not applied as well, and looked to be coming loose when I unwrapped the new cables. It is worth noting that, in common with all other cable brands I've used, the length specification is essentially tip-to-tip including connector. The actual length of pure "cable" in my samples is 34-inches. The connector bodies and tips extend the measured length to just over 3-feet. It would be delightful to someday encounter a cable vendor who routinely added a little "leeway" to their cable lengths.

Bests many cables 3-7 times its price!
I bought this based on another review that had said it sounded better than an audioquest cable almost 7 times its price. Since it was $8 I figured why not give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. I AB'd it against my Audioquest Forest Green coax cable and in all tests I preferred this one. My setup was a PC>Belkin Gold USB>Schiit Eitr>This cable | AQ Forest Green>Hugo 2>Phonitor X>various TOTL headphones of mine. Solid increase in low end performance across the board. Actually got a surprisingly high amount of subbass from my Utopia (subbass from the utopia, seriously? Couldn't believe it). Highs and treble weren't muted per se rather than became more refined. The sibilance from my HD 800 and, especially, the 10khz spike from my MDR-Z1R were smoothed out to becoming almost nonexistent. Got even more detail out of this cable than my AQ one. All of this for a fraction of the price of a more expensive AQ cable. Cable itself is also very solidly built. Obviously not flashy like AQ or other cables but it does the job very, very well. Highly recommend!!!

Good product
I am extremely happy with this product. It sounds as good as any that I have heard, especially in my system where it connects a component to a outboard DAC. It iw well constructed, and for a short run audio coax cable, it is perfect. I know that cables can be extremely expensive (I really question the true worth of some of the outrageously expensive cables), but this cable certainly is not expensive and it does the job for me perfectly. I would highly recommend it to anyone to try. If for some strange reason you do not like it, you have not lost much.

works well
I needed this to hook up my yamaha sound bar to my insignia TV. the soundbar came with an optical cable, but my insignia TV does not have an Optical output. this worked perfectly and the sound is great. no I can spend more time in my basement. the price of this cable is cheaper than going to radio shack and the quality is good.

Excellent cable at an affordable price
I find it difficult to review cable because unless there's something wrong with it, there's really not much to say other than "It works." I just want to let future customers know that despite the low price, this is very good quality cable. In recent years I have learned the hard way that electromagnetic shielding is important for any AV cable that may lie near power cords. Electric power fluctuates at a rate of 60 Hz, and if unshielded cable lies too close to power cords, it can come across as a clearly audible 60 Hz subwoofer hum. The best solution is to keep your AV cables away from your power cords, but this is not always easy. Electromagnetic shielding in your AV cables is the next best solution. This cable is double-shielded, as I recommend all your (non-optical) AV cable should be. It has solid foil shielding to protect against high frequency interference and braid shielding to protect against low-frequency interference. Well-made shielded cable for $5-10 is a great bargain. Much like the Amazon Basics stuff, Cables to Go sells good quality accessories at an affordable price.

It works and feels like it should last
Feels like a thick solid quality cable. I'm using it to connect my TV to my surround sound receiver's coax digital audio, and it works, providing 5.1 surround sound from any surround sound source material playing through my TV. Both over the air and from my computer plugged into my TV. There are no issues related to the cable. The only issue with sound from my TV going through coax digital audio is if the TV reception is poor due to the antenna not being positioned well for a particular station or a helicopter flying in the area, then the sound drops even if the picture is still fine. Analogue audio from my TV always works when the picture works and sometimes even when the picture drops. That's how my TV tuner works though and has nothing to do with this excellent cable which has no issues that I've found.

Works as expected (using with a Roland MX-1 for digital input)!
Bought this for my Roland MX-1 so I could finally use the digital coax i/o on the MX-1 as an analog stereo input (also bought the Musou RCA Analog to Digital Audio Converter to pair with it). Cable seems solid enough and decent quality. I only got the 1.5 foot length cable, as I didn't need a lot of distance. If you need a relatively cheap digital coax cable that gets the job done, you could do worse.

Works, but connectors slip off input jacks
I found that the connectors for this S/PDIF Digital Audio Coax Cable do not fit snugly enough to the attached components and can slip off if you move your equipment around. As a result, I replaced it with an older, longer cable lying around the house. Yes it works, until it slips off. I'll stick with my older, longer cable and live with a little untidiness.
