Sierra Comfort Low-Level Portable Massage Table, SC-1004 (Black)

I am so happy with this massage table. I had knee surgery eight weeks ago and this is the perfect table to accomplish physical therapy exercises correctly at home. It’s low to the ground and very stable. It’s also wider than most tables, so the frequent switching sides for exercises such as straight leg lifts is easier. The set up was very easy and you can change the height a few inches up or down if you like. The only small con is that the surface is a bit hard, but there are several pads that can be purchased to make it more comfortable. This is a great purchase that will be used for many years to come.

This table is everything I hoped it would be. It seems very solid and sturdy. It folds easy and latches shut with feet on the side that the folded table will stand on and a convenient carrying handle. I bought this for back exercise. Personally I didn't use it much when I involved having to get it out and put it back away, but now that I'm able to have it set up in a convenient location I use it daily. It makes my back exercises super easy, comfortable, and convenient to do. This is no longer in stock but I'm still posting the review because this brand is still available. I don't recall all the tables I looked at. I chose this one because it was about as long as they come, and I am tall. It includes a removable headrest too. For my exercises my knees are bent so it turns out I don't need the head rest. It uses wooden dowels, that my son could probably break if he sat on the head rest, so I'm happy to not need it regularly. It is firm and comfortable which is exactly what is needed. This one is probably wider than others, which is certainly a preference of mine. I don't have to have myself on it just perfect or be mindful of shifting over as I might have to on a narrower model. My arms can rest to my sides. There's not much more to say about it really. It is exactly what I hoped for. I don't think it could store any more easily, but with a busy schedule any extra steps are almost too much. I have spondylolithesis. The exercises I do are rather simple, and even as I gain strength and do more reps I only need 10 to 15 minutes a day to keep it up. Having this table so I don't have to roll out a mat and get up and down from the floor really makes it so convenient that I not only have no excuse to not do them, I don't care to make any. With the table set up it's a great way to wake up actually because I have an excuse to lie back down for a little bit and feel good about it. If you have back pain there are probably exercises you have been recommended or should be doing. You won't regret buying this table, and especially if you can leave it set up somewhere and available for convenient use.

The table was very easy to open and stand it up. The only "assembly" was adding the two side metal bars that add stability to the table by using simply screw knobs. It is low and wide, just like I want. It is very steady and feels secure. I added a 2" foam topper because the padded table-top was too hard for me. Very happy with this table. Great price and value. Comfortable enough with this set-up that it could be a guest bed. I also added small felt sliders under the table legs to easily slide the table around to reposition it.

The good aspects are: the table is very sturdy and nice and wide. It set up pretty easily. I question the portability of the table, though. It's very heavy and large when folded up. I am guessing that people like me who need this table for exercise can't be folding this thing up and setting up all the time. I certainly can't. The worst thing about it is that it has a terrible chemical smell, typical of stuff coming out of China. I'm going to try to wipe it down with something to get rid of that smell. I really can't stand it. Normally I wouldn't keep an item with this smell but this thing is too big to pack up and send back so I'm dealing with it. Overall, though, for exercise, it is good.

I have to do PT exercises, the bed it too soft and the floor I have trouble getting up/down and it is too hard. I purchased this, could adjust the height easily. I did find where it folded was a little hard on the lower back so got a 2" gel foam, firm topper for it. Perfection! So easy to set up. Great product and sturdy.

This is a fantastic table for those of us who have trouble getting off the floor to do floor work exercises. I weigh just under 300 lb. and it is wide and sturdy enough for me to do abdominal rehab exercises like cat-cow, hip bridges etc. It is well padded yet firm-surfaced. We are very pleased so far; it's even handsome enough we've left it set up all the time as a coffee table, in the living room. We left it right at the height it was shipped at. It was easy to unpackage and set up. I don't use mine with the headrest but we put it in/on. just to make sure it worked together. I've done my exercises everyday since we received it, since there is no excuse not too! It comes with a nice sturdy nylon carrying case and is fairly portable and well balanced as you are carrying it.

I very rarely take the time for a review - not unless I am VERY impressed or VERY disappointed. It happens to be the latter for this item. While I still believe it serves my purpose because of how low and firm it is (stretching and bodywork) - it totally does not justify the cheap quality of materials, both for table and case and metal security poles, nor is the cheap labor to put it together justified. My friend got a $100 table at Costco that has withheld hundreds of uses over almost 10 years. The only problem I had with my 7 year old $500 table, was a latch that needed to be tightened. My new SIERRA table surface has abrasions after less than a month of gentle handling. The case is a joke - rips and tears along seams and handles, and just in random places. Started after I used it maybe 2-3 times? Come on, how hard does one have to drag it on asphalt to get this to happen? Just marvelling at the beyond cheap quality of material and labor. It wasn't exactly free either. Almost $200, pretty comparable to a lower price range of a medium decent massage table. As the saying goes, a stingy person pays double. I only got this table for its low height and firmness - I wasn't trying to save $ - but what a waste of money? To top all the above, the security poles that you need to connect for every use - SECURITY - what's in the word? - came apart! Yes that's right, to hell with security. Was it going to be even more prone to collapsing under my patient? I did not take a picture of this flaw (but look at photo describing it) before my friend had it welded for me. Who will call it a one unit manufacturer's defect? Shameful quality. At least it is satisfying to make other potential buyers aware. Good luck!

I like how this table arrived in a very well packaged box. The table is quite firm, not much padding. But it suits my needs, excellent for doing exercises on, it's a solid and well made product.. 👍

I bought this to help my dad recover from a stroke. It's a great lower table that makes rehab exercises easier.

I LOVE this stretching table. It is so much easier to do all my PT exercises and other general exercises. Perfect height for me, I don't have to get down onto a floor mat with my back spasming. I now exercise 2-3 times a day for an hour total because I'm not struggling with equipment. I highly recommend this product to anyone.
