Aqua MixGrout Colorant - 8 oz Bottle - Silver

Stains on your grout? Damaged grout ,repaired with non-matching color? I discovered Aquamix Grout colorant. I was skeptical at first about a "paint on" colorant. I now have 3 different colors and am amazed at the ease of application and the results! No more dingy,stained grout. Clean it and paint it with Aquamix. Comes in many different colors. You can even change the grout colors just for a change of decor. It's tough enough for the bathroom floor or kitchen counter. It is an amazing product. 100+% satisfied. Update: 2018 and the Aquamix is still great on my kitchen tile and bathroom floor tile. Love this stuff !!

Easy to use right out of bottle, made a big difference to update floor. Used varius HIGH quality slanted paint brushes for watercoloring to apply since they don't shed hairs and you need multiple sizes because those lines are not the same width once you start application. I found it easy to scrape off with box knife if there was some spilling onto tile. The silver is a tad whiter than I hoped....in my pic I show where I have put down gray sample (left line) & silver sample (right side) and photo showing silver app in process with what is there now.

We had a gray morrocan ceramic tile backsplash installed. My husband talked me into white grout and i just didnt like it, white grout was just too bright for my small kitchen. I did some research and ordered a couple of shades of gray of Aquamix, and decided on silver. Our backsplash is about 30 square feet, and we probably used a quarter of the bottle. We poured a little bit on a paper plate, took artist brushes and painted on the grout lines. After it set for about 2 hours i sprayed water on the tiles with a spray bottle and waited 5 minutes. We then took sponges with mesh on them and wiped the Aquamix from the tiles. The key is to load up your sponge with lots of warm water. I'm so happy with the color and the look of my backsplash now!

This product started out fine. I followed the direction/cleaning, etc... and it went on the grout and stained it beautifully. A few days later I noticed bubbles forming here and there! When I pressed on the bubbles the stain/paint broke off. That wouldn't have been too noticeable, I would just have to touch up those areas, but this paint not only broke off but took chunks of the grout with it! Portions of my grout now look like potholes you see in the street! Now I have to regrout those areas and still stain them because I used the stain everywhere else! I have no idea why that happened. I didn't use the shower in that bathroom because I regrouped the shower so I don't this it could have been moisture in the air. So disappointed! Regarding the color, the silver color is darker and more blue as stated by others. I have white tile & grey walls so I was happy with color but it's not light silver.

Be very careful about believing that this easy to clean off your tiles---it's not!Be very careful about keeping the colorant on the grout only---use a watercolor paint brush.Don't use a nylon scrubber; it will take the colorant right off the grout---use your thumbnail or a razor scrapper.It won't color in 1 coat---it will take 2 coats.The color is true and durable after its dried about a week.
