A: 10 pounds will last about 4 to 5 months per horse.

**Q: how young of a foal can be fed this please?**
A: We recommend first consulting your vet. Simplifly should be fine for foals that are 300 lbs. or more.

**Q: Why can't this be shipped to calif.  Always ordered and now it says it can’t be shipped to calif.**
A: Must be some kind of new regulation, I was able to buy it the last time I ordered it.

**Q: Why not feed to "horses intended for slaughter?" Also...who raises horses intended for slaughter, anyway?**
A: correct if the horses are intended for slaughter and are supposed to be shipped from the  USA to Mexico for slaughter (horse slaughter is illegal in the USA) then these horses not only cannot have had certain vaccinations but they also cannot have been treated with various substances to prevent flies and worms. As to your question who raises horses for slaughter, plenty of 'breeders' in the USA do that but they would never admit to it. You can research for example the different registries for horses and draw your own conclusions.
