I Love My Mommy Because...

My son saw this book at a local play center and immediately fell in love with it. We checked our local library and bookstores first but no one had it. Ordered it here and it came quickly and in great condition. I love that it’s a sturdy board book (as we read it multiple times a day, lol) and has held up very well. The story is sweet, but the pictures are especially cute! Really a great book, and would make a lovely gift!

This is the nicest made book for the price and the illustrations are so cute

I brought this book a few months ago for my daughter who was then around 14 month old... She simply loves it... We live in Hong Kong and speak English only as second language, and we haven't taught her any English yet... So all my wife and myself do is to read the sentence in English first and then explain it in Chinese... But I can tell even she doesn't understand the content fully yet, she loves the rhymes and the pictures, that she will grab the books and put it in our hands to read it for her a few times a day, if not more. And she enjoys flapping over the pages by herslef and pointing to the animals, which is good for her motor skill development I suppose... Now whenever we say "I love my mummy..." she will smile and go look for the book (and asked us to read out the book for her). Overall, I am quite glad and proud of my pick on this book.

My child absolutely loves this book! We took it out of the public library so many times I finally bought it. I have a really lovey child, so if your child loves hugs and kisses you may want to consider this book. My child also loves animals which are illustrated throughout the book. The story starts out with mom on a chair reading to her child and goes onto other animal mothers with their offspring, such as, mother cat with her kitten and the words, "She listens when I talk." Mother deer and fawn, with the words,"She keeps me nice and clean." "She tucks me in." is illustrated with mother kangaroo and Joey. It ends with a child in his mother's lap saying, "I love my mommy and my mommy loves me." This is a great bedtime story because it is easy to read and short. My child loved this book so much that we also bought, I Love My Daddy Because....

My daughter loved this book as a child, and now we have one for my granddaughter. It is an easy read. Also, there is another book called I love my daddy because!

Bought this as part of a gift for a newborn baby. It’s perfect and durable. Can see it being read to a baby for years to come. Would 100% recommend this book.
