I needed a 4.5 volt supply and this was just right. I chose the AAA size because I want to put it on a 555 flip/flop circuit for my scooter. I'm going to mount it on the back by the O2 bottle. It's just a fun gimmick to play with. Quite happy with how it worked out.

Product was as advertised and was just what I needed.

The package included two features I had not noticed before: an on/off pushbutton switch on the case and adapters for AAA-sized batteries. What a nice surprise! The case feels sturdy and snugs tightly together. The screws tighten up firmly into actual, metal nuts. Even so, I appreciate the honesty in the description "water resistant", as the case does not have a resilient gasket or seal. Looks good to me for dry conditions where an occasional splash might happen, like beside a potted plant. However, probably not for the garden where it rains.

Both main battery cases arrived, but the adapters showed up missing half of 1 sleeve. It would also be far more usable if the on/off switch was on the same side as the battery door.

I like the compact design and it works fine, the on/off slide switch seems sturdy, but the design wasn't well thought out, because the power switch and the battery access panel are on opposite sides so GOOD LUCK trying to mount the battery holder against a surface. You'll either lose access to the power switch or you'll lose access to the battery access panel.

Good price and quick delivery.

This Christmas when I went to put up our lighted wreaths outside on our front doors, they would not work! Found out too late we had left the batteries in them and they leaked out their acid, ruining the waterproof battery boxes. After doing a quick search on Amazon, I found these and immediately purchased them. Installed they worked like a charm right from the get go and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Amazon for having such niche products available!

They are rated for outdoors and they do work, but the screws rust and the overall fit and finish is only okay. But for the money they are fine.
