It fell apart
The thermometer read 70° and never changed. The compass fell off and then the thermometer fell off. It didn't even last 3 months. Waste of money.

I like the size and weight of this, and it has a good carabiner. You definitely need to re-glue it, as noted by several other reviewers, and probably before you wear it or else you might lose the compass and/or thermometer. They just popped right out on mine, but luckily I was indoors and the dog chose not to eat them. Hey but for six bucks, that's no big deal. I used Elmers.

Thermometer Interfers with Compass
The compass side popped out and I noticed it wouldn't point towards north all the way when seated back into the carabiner. However once removed it corrected that. So minus two stars for cheap glue and that something is interfering with the compass.

Great little addition to my tent. Stays clipped on it even when stored and allows me to see the temperature easily.

The compass doesn’t work
Right out of the package, the compass didn’t work.

Garbage
Altho it is small enough that it doesn't bulk out my key ring, I do find it relatively worthless. The compass will only point north if you know which way north is. It's like a government office worker: try 3 times & take the average response. As for the thermometer: I find it is only close to the actual temperature within 10-15 degrees! What good is that??? The circle is so small and the degree markers so close together, that you really have no idea if it changed at all from indoor air conditioning to outdoors in the sun!If it wasnt' such a pain in the butt to take it off my keys, find the itty bitty box it came in, order a return label, drop it off for shipping, etc,, I certainly would. Don't waste your money on this chinese crap. Unless all you need is a caribeener ... but then why spend $10 on one?
