There are a few reviews which mention that the cables are too short - the set comes with one short cable and one long cable so I suspect they just missed that fact. Obvi, the shortie is for the front and the long one is for the back.Yeah, the housing does compress when cutting, but just use a sharper cutting implement and have something to ream out the housing when done. It's super simple and easy.

Mini should work okay except here I have a Rock Hopper mountainbike where the cable holders are much thicker and this won't work. I need the mountainbike version that is equal outer diameter to a regular bmx bike, apparently sizing down the cables to reduce weight and cost is part of the new bike design. The stainless cable has notably less weight than the clarks cable, I assume it is less strength I know I could not even cut the clarks cable. It seems like a good set, if you don't have cable holders bigger than 5mm or whatever this is.

Delivered quickly, but was unhappy to realize the cable is too short to reach the rear brake on a full-size 27" road bike. Only discovered after I cut off one end and threaded it through, only to find it didn't reach.

Cables work good on my electric fat tired bike one was frayed and now it's not. If I was going to buy another product for my bike as far as cables go I would choose this company to get it

Compresses easily. I'm using 105 shifters/brake levers with nice Spyre disc brakes and I can't even lock up the rear wheel. It's junk, dont waste your money. Buy the real Jagwire and do it right the first time.

First of all they only send one housing, turns out it wasn't enough housing for both the front and back brakes on my Schwinn Scooter. OK so bummer on that BUT then it gets worse, the LONG cable isn't long enough to reach the back brake! Say HUH? This took forever to arrive and now it won't freaking WORK, this sucks. Choose other.

Looks awesome matches really well w my blue grips and bottle holders, enough casing to do all the cables even the derailer on the rear

Ordered this cable to replace a brake cable on my bike. Picture shows what I received. Cable already rusted, grease and gobs of stuff smeared around the inside of the packaging bag. Absolutely unusable, and should never have even shipped out. Can't believe I even had to award one star - should be zero.
