We get to see the continuation of the West Bottom Badgers after their training camp adventures with Coach Rolabi. Season one brilliantly extends the trials and tribulations of this basketball squad primarily led thru the eyes and mind of Reggie. The mentally and physical struggles Reggie and the team continue to work thru take me back to my playing days and remembering the emotions, self-doubt and the small & large triumphs we experienced both individually and as a team on and off the hard wood. I was eager to turn each page, wondering if Reggie would solve his internal riddles, push thru his struggles and find his purpose/role for the Badgers! Love that each chapter is led by a Wizenard Proverb. Example: “Train your mind in conjunction with your body, or both will fail.” Wesley King writing and possible influence from Kobe are a great combination. Can’t wait for the next series!

LOVE the look of this book! The quality of it is amazing for the price! I almost didn’t want to give it to my little boy because I wanted it to remain in perfect condition! The hard cover looks and feels like a basketball! We are wizard and basketball fanatics in this house, and with this series we got it all in one!

The only thing I can say bad about this book was the length, granted that is my fault I should have noticed the page length when I pre-ordered. As with the first book, it follows the path of one of the players on the team. We find out his fears, his dreams, his doubts, and his hopes. Wonderfully written and I hope it continues.

I love the book so much! The cover is sooo elegant. It's a beautiful book. I've started to read it chapter by chapter for my daughter every night. Hope the spirit to be better that Reggie feels, can be absorbed by my daughter too :-)

I loved Reggie. I loved the lesson of grit, self talk, team, and holistic growth. These are lessons I can use in my secondary math classroom. I hope the series continues with Kobe’s example and experiences. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Great fantasy for teenagers with attractive paper cover

The book seemed so incomplete. The last 2 chapter really need work, it felt incomplete. Compared to the first book that had me really wanting more.
