Timex Marathon LCD Dial with a Black Resin Strap Watch TW5M14300

I bought a Marathon T5K364 in 2017. The band around the strap is starting to go, so I figured I'd replace it before it went entirely. Sept 1 2022, I got this watch. Seemed comparable. I'm assuming this is the updated version of the discontinued watch I had.Except here we are, and the band around the strap just broke. On my new one. So it lasted 7 months before dying entirely, and the older model lasted "5 years and should be replaced soon".Oh well.Figured I'd let anyone know in case they were looking to replace that older model too.

Excellent first 'proper' watch for my 11 year old son. Great quality and easy to programme. Fits his wrist really well

My son loved the watch but we've had it out of the box and worn since Christmas Day and now the strap has torn. I would like to return it but the window has closed. It's now 6 weeks since we've had this so don't waste your money if you are thinking of buying this. It's cheap for a reason. Plastic strap.

I bought one of these watches and it arrived with the strap already broken. I returned it for a replacement which was fine for a few months but then whilst wearing the watch under normal circumstances the strap of this watch broke in the same place that the original had been broken. I telephoned Timex and was told to send the watch to them as the repair would be covered under warranty. However, weeks later I received an email saying that the cost of repair would be £20! This is ridiculous as the watch only cost slightly more than this. I am now out of pocket for the postage and I have no watch. I will avoid Timex in the future.

Bought as a birthday present for my son. He loves it, easy to use and see, fits him well and meets all of his needs.

Lovely stylish smart watch, not too bulky. Fast delivery, packaging was poor though, thankfully I liked it as the paper work fell out so would not have been able to return it.
