This is an excellent battery that increases the Moto G7 Power stamina even more. You'll know you need one when your battery swells the back up and your fingerprint reader falls in. I did this replacement without a heat gun. I highly recommend using a heat gun would've been much easier. The Moto G7 Power is an excellent phone. There's no reason to pitch it when this inexpensive repair is available.

Like many that purchased this product, I aimed to replace the battery in my Pixel 3 XL. Here are my notes for others attempting to replace their own battery. Why I like the product sold: 1. upgraded 4300 mAh battery life is fantastic 2. inexpensive What was not necessary for battery replacement (Google Pixel 3 XL): 1. the pointed hex screwdriver 2. the suction cup What's missing from this package to perform the battery replacement: 1. heat gun 2. plastic card to cut through glue (watch out for the fingerprint sensor ribbon) 3. b-7000 Glue UPDATE: 3/25/2024 Battery has failed. Lol

Update 7/29/2026: I came back to try to buy a replacement battery (left my phone in a hot car and the pack puffed) but Amazon has redirected this product link to a much smaller battery for a Samsung product. My review is for a battery for a Moto G7 (Lenovo) phone, not whatever this battery is. The back of my phone tore loose on Sunday due to a sudden massively-puffed LiPo battery pack. This was one of three sellers of replacement batteries, and the others had either very bad or no reviews. I didn't have to use the supplied guitar pick to do much more than pull apart the top edge; the bottom and side edges on my phone were completely loose already due to the puffed pack. It worked quickly and easily to unseal the top edge. The other edges just needed to have some of the adhesive stringing to be torn. The Torx T-5 screwdriver supplied for removing the camera module worked fine, EXCEPT that one screw's head stripped out instantly. I don't think this was the fault of the screwdriver since all of the others came out without any issue. Fortunately, the now-unremovable screw was in the top-right corner (as viewed with the camera at top, and screen facing down on the work surface). I was able to pull the camera module upward enough to pop loose the old battery connector (which is at bottom-right), and after some effort managed to get the new battery's connector pushed in place and connected. Note, the tip (and shaft) of the screwdriver is magnetized. Very helpful for getting the screws out, and also for picking them up to put back in. The cable at the top of the battery is slightly too long; unlike the factory battery, the cable on which lay perfectly flat, this cable bows upward a bit. The one negative to this kit is that the spatula (for lack of a better term) for prying the old battery loose from its double-sided tape strips is metal, and has a few burrs on one side, and has relatively sharp edges. I had to be careful not to put the burred side up against the battery, because I have no doubt that the burrs would have torn the envelope. A plastic spatula with rounded edges would be MUCH safer. I haven't gotten to the adhesive strips for holding the back on yet. I don't think the phone will be as moisture-resistant as it was, but oh well, it's old anyway, and this just serves to extend the life a bit. Unrelated to the kit but regarding the phone (Moto G(7) Power by Lenovo), there's really no excuse for Lenovo to have made the phone with a glued-in back. I don't care if my phone weighs five grams more to accommodate a few corner screws and a rubber gasket, instead of being glued together to the point that it's a pain to replace a fire-hazard puffed LiPo. Also, I really don't get why Lenovo used TEN SCREWS to hold the camera module in place; four or five should be more than enough, and maybe even just one if it were designed properly.

Chose this battery because it was a little bit higher amperage and more backup power said it was the correct one for my LG Stylo 6 as an upgrade when installed by a technician my screen burned out I don't think this is a good replacement

Battery came with all the toolkit to repair. I saw videos on Youtube om how to change it and it's easy

Great battery! Kit had what I needed to replace the battery. Works great!...much better than the original battery even when it was new!

I was skeptical at first, but after installing I have an extra predicted 15hrs of battery life. [41hrs originally, 56hrs now.] Though depending on your phone usage, your results will vary. It should be noted this isn't the original battery capacity, it's an upgrade. Upon installing, the device itself will not recognize the fact it's been upgraded & will still claim to be using a 4000mAh battery in the battery settings. As for the extra 800mAh that'll be added with this upgrade, the phone should operate normally. If you run into some connection issues, be sure that your internal cables are secured correctly. If problem persists, be sure to check your device date.
