Works well! Seems fine with 5V
Worked great! At least for my ELEGOO boards, I had to connect the RFID sensors to 5V, since 3.3V didnโt work. I kept them connected to 5V for a long time and had no problems with the ICs burning out.

Works every time, right out of the box.
These modules have been around a while. They just work right out of the box. Lots of drivers and examples. There are other devices out there but none that I have tried, and I have tried them all, work as well as this. It is a little smaller than the card you are going to use. I recomend using NTAG 215 cards.

All three readers worked right out of the box, and with no defects. A great value.
As soon as the tag readers arrived and the pin headers were soldered on, I uploaded the "firmware check" sketch to my Arduino and wired them up one reader at a time, and all three readers passed the initial testing. I then wrote up a quick sketch to provide audible confirmation, and to display tag information on a 20x4 I2C character display. All three cards and all three key fobs scanned with no issues. I do look forward to doing more experiments with these RFID readers and tags. For $10, it was a great value.

Price and range pretty good.
I liked these since the price was good, and the range for the card reader and RFID chip were good for what I needed. Each reader came with a key fob and card, which was great for testing. Although I intended to use it to read other types of devices and it reads them just fine (specifically a magic band).

Excellent product.
They work as expected. No issues at all. Placed inside an ABS box they easily read mifare cards held about half inch away on the other side (interfaced with an Arduino nano). Well worth the money.

Great value, work as expected
Can't go wrong with HiLetgo, their products always perform as advertized, and these modules are no exception. Now as far as the modules themselves, the one limitation I found (using 3.3V) is they need to be really close to the keyfobs, so putting them inside a plastic case adds too much distance as the crystal on top adds an extra 3 or 4mm of space. It would be easier with the antenna trace on the flat bottom side.

Useful Addition to the Arduino Arsenal
Fun and useful device for most microcontrollers. Easy to learn. Good price. Tags and cards, both, work the same.

Great for programming 13.56 mhz cards
I purchased this item to build an easy mp3 player. The intent was to program RFID cards with song numbers on them that could be read and cause a particular song to be played on an mp3 player. This would be particularly useful for older folks or disabled individuals. Add a micro controller and a speaker, a couple of buttons and a volume control. Put is in a case and you have a self contained unit. All are readily available on the internet. This unit works as expected.
