The angled head makes it easier to read and I like the clear labeling. This is a back-up to my other socket-testers and in some applications, like where I have to take a lot of photo's of mis-wired receptacles, it makes my job easier because you can see in the photo what the wiring-problem is without me having to take extra time to spell it out in the report. Nice!

This device lets you know if you hvae wired a gfci correctly just by looking at the lights. You can then correct your wiring to be correct. Very quick to identify problems with wiring GFCI. Deserves to be in every handyperson's tool box.

Did not work as well as I expected

The ground prong collapsed on itself, and rendered the device useless. I haven’t even used it heavily, I’m not an electrician, just a homeowner who used it to test all outlets in my new house. Don’t buy this and expect to last more than couple dozen of uses.

We replaced a number of older electric receptacles with new USB ones. Tester worked great.

I recently installed three GFCI outlets, and wanted to test them to make sure that I installed correctly & for safety reasons.

I use this to test GFCI receptacles. The issue with this is that I can't push the button while its plugged in because the top and bottom are too wide.

Nice product, I use it daily.
