ECR4Kids SitWell Wobble Stool, Adjustable Height, Active Seating, Eggplant

I, like many reading this review around this period of time (Aug 2020), have set up a virtual learning space for my son do his schoolwork and endless Zoom classes. As a chiropractor, I'm concerned about spinal health, core strength, and posture. So I got this for my kiddo for those reasons as much as I did for other reasons, such as it being great for kinesthetic learners, fidgety kids (mine isn't, but he's active and definitely a K-learner), helping focus, etc. I looked at many different ones. Because I'm an over-thinker-second-guesser, I couldn't commit to a fixed height stool, so I narrowed down to 3 different adjustables. This one won for a balance of price, company rep, simplicity of design, and height range. It arrived this morning right before my son's first class. I pulled it right out of the box, pulled the plastic off (no smell-yay!), was immediately impressed with the quality and heft and lack of assembly needed, adjusted the height for him (at 68 lbs, he isn't heavy enough to do it himself yet, not a bad thing at his age), and off he went, shifting and wobbling like he should. He loves it. He did fall over at one point (wood floors, he was fine), so I put a small rug under it. For all I know he was doing something he shouldn't. For reference, my son is 8 years old, 68 lbs, 4' 4-3/4" tall and he uses it at a standard sized desk, same exact as my husband and I have.

Good quality, sturdy. Great price on sale, I got it for $50. Not sure I'd be as thrilled with it at $120 but at the moment, I love it!

Love these stools. Allows my kiddos to move while trying to focus on school, coloring, etc. my favorite part is that these are easily adjustable to any height with an easy press of a little button (like an office chair). These chairs seem durable and overall quite stable, even for my 2 and 4 year old. The still is easy to clean. The bottom has a nice rubber grippy surface. I love that it allows them to get their wiggles out, while also strengthening their core. Also can air in better posture. I bought two for my kiddos and am temuto get one for my self!

We bought this for our 3rd grader (for virtual learning, yea! 😭) who has to be the wiggliest kid I have ever seen. EVER! He still spins, tilts, and wobbles in this stool but it has helped him at least stay at the desk. He has tipped it and fell but he was really leaning in it. This is one of the more expensive stools but it is really nice. Very well made, rubber at the bottom, comfy to sit in. The height adjuster is easy to use and doesn’t have “levels” more like an office chair that you adjust to whatever you need. I’ve tried it for a little and for an adult it works great as a posture helper. Maybe we will be allowed to have it at school for him when they go back.

The item is a good stool - I have teacher colleagues who also like this stool. However, be cautious buying “used very good or like new condition”. I ordered two of these in the “like new” description. One was great and the raising and lowering mechanisms worked. It was truly a new stool. On the other item, the mechanism was broken and the seat popped off the base. This was upsetting as even with the discount they are pricy seats.

These ECR4Kids SitWell Wobble Stools are an absolute godsend! My son initially got the orange one, and it quickly became the envy of my daughter, who couldn't resist trying to take it for herself. To resolve the conflict, we ended up getting her a purple one, and they've been a hit ever since! What's truly remarkable about these stools is their design. My son, a sensory seeker who constantly rocks in chairs and stools, has put our island stools through a lot of wear and tear. However, the SitWell Wobble Stools have saved the day (and our island stools)! The wobbling feature allows him to satisfy his need for movement without damaging our furniture. Additionally, the adjustable height is incredibly convenient. We can easily transition them from the island (counter height) to the dinner table without any hassle. Overall, we couldn't be happier with these stools. They've brought peace to our household and saved us from countless repairs. Highly recommend them to any parent dealing with energetic kids!

I love this wobble chair because it doesn't let me slouch. Like back in time, we used to sit on those huge blowable balls, this is a similar idea, but it doesn't take as much room. It's easy to shove under the desk, easy to change the height of the seat, and also easy to carry with me, if I go somewhere to stay for a longer time and still want to sit nicely and with a good posture.

This stool is perfect for my son (7) who cannot sit still! I actually bought it for him to use at the dinner table because he was always leaning back in the chair and I was trying to prevent him from a) falling over and b) breaking the chair legs! This was the perfect solution. It’s built well and sturdy material. I love that the height is extendable so it can accommodate various tables. (It can easily accommodate me and I’m 5’7”) It’s easy to use, just push the button under the seat to adjust the height. It’s light enough to carry to another room if needed, and does exactly what the kids need it for- moving around while staying seated!
