Professional Grade Products!
This has to be my favorite Amazon purchase ever! After working as a presser in a dry cleaners for over 15 years, I finally decided to see if there was a comparable iron for me to use at home. Well, this is it! First you will notice the weight of the iron, most retail irons try to sell themselves as being light weight as a plus but this is a misconception, a properly weighted iron will do the hard work for you. Couple that with the virtually endless steam and I can iron nonstop for a few hours. Granted, I love to iron, but this takes away all of my old frustrations. No more iron that spits, needs to be refilled every 15 minutes, dies after a few months and is so flimsy I have to lean into it to get enough pressure to do the job. The Iron ships with everything shown in the photo and my ONLY "complaint" is the length of the cord, this was resolved with the simple purchase of a heavy duty extension cord. Be sure to understand this is a GRAVITY FED steam iron, that means the water tank needs to be above the level at which you are ironing. Solution: Put it on a heavy duty hanger and work near a place to hang it.PSThere are a couple of other brands that seemed similar but I chose Silver Star because it was one of the primary brands we used at our dry cleaners, I knew their products to be of high quality going back many decades and I was not disappointed at all after all these years!

The media could not be loaded. I just bought mine yesterday and put it to the test. It work great on my Pendleton and Levi’s left. Great creases. I really like the product.

Industrial steam iron
I purchased this industrial steam iron December 30 I am now returning the iron back on February 5. This is the third Iron from this particular company that I have had a defective. Iron sent to me. The Irons just stopped working no steam no nothing. I am extremely disappointed that I have to return this for the third time thank God I got the assurance warranty to cover me or I would have been spending almost $350 in Irons.

Leaking
I've had this iron several years (maybe 6) and now water is pouring out..... I'm going to try and find a fix but I this a &100 + iron should last forever. It does get very hot so that I have to put a rag around the handle. I do lots of ironing and have never burned fabric. If I can't repair it, I'll be moving on.Don't get upset that the iron is heavy or not that easy to use, it's a professional iron so it's supposed to be heavy. What I love about it is that is doesn't shut off.

Works well, less expensive than others
I like that it came with the external charcoal filter instead of using charcoal in the water container. Solid iron has weight to it. Easy to set up and use. Very similar to a high-end commercial iron I had before at half the price. Silicone mat is nice, but for longer use, I would put another layer below it of something that won't conduct the heat through to your table.

Already looking to upgrade.
The iron itself gets very hot, I managed to scorch a wool rest pad on a "2" heat setting. Worse, the handle gets noticeably warm even at these lower temps. The power indicator only lights up very briefly for me on startup, and so it will go through multiple heat cycles with no visual indication, which feels like the most egregious hazard. I appreciate that this is an industrial machine without an auto shutoff, but to be fit for 8 hours of continuous operation it shouldn't suffer these safety related drawbacks.I have however learned to appreciate the dry & endless steam available from a gravity fed iron compared to my older domestic sewing irons, and the Teflon sole plate is a game changer. These discoveries were worth it.Looking for a better quality gravity fed now.
