I absolutely love this dinner set. Very nice heavy duty dishes. The design is just as pictured and it's not the cheap painted on kind. Great quality, I will be buying more pieces to the set.

Colors are as vibrant as shown. When you're looking for these types of colors, some can be muddy. I love the different place settings. I had been looking for a set of dishes with these colors and style for 2 years. I would have given it 5 stars, but a salad plate had a tiny chip on the bottom and barely noticeable. It was before it was glazed so it's a manufacturing issue, not a shipping or durability issue. I wish they offered individual replacements. It was not enough for me to return it as the entire set would need to be repacked and delivered, and it's too heavy as a set to lift for me to do that.

I love these dishes & had been checking them out for over 5 years. Finally move somewhere that the colors totally fit the bill. No, they are not hand painted, but the colors are vibrant & the pattern is clear. They are ceramic, so eventually I’m sure there will be some chipping, but they arrived well packaged & intact. They are a nice weight. I like my dishes to have a little heft. They are definitely Happy Dishes!

All of the 5 star reviews are for the colors, which are admittedly beautiful and just as pictured. However, we have had these dishes for 10 months and this review is pertaining to functionality. The first thing we noticed was that they get dangerously hot when microwaved. The food or beverage in them will still be cold but the actual dish or mug will be hot enough to blister your hands (literally) and they stay that hot for a long time. If you microwave yourself a hot drink in the mug, even if you heat it long enough to get the liquid hot, the mug will be far too hot for you to put your mouth on. By the time it is almost cool enough to put your mouth on the mug without causing serious injury your beverage will not be hot anymore. Furthermore, if you fill a bowl with hot soup you only have about 60 seconds or maybe less afterwards to move the bowl where you want it; after that, it will be too hot to handle. Then we noticed that they chip randomly and apparently without reason. We are not hard on our dishes at all; we replaced our previous set after I-don't-even-know-how-many years because we had dropped and broken them over the years and not due to chips in the pieces we had left. These aren't even a year old and we have chips in a couple of each of the cups, small plates, large plates, and bowls. Despite how wonderful the colors are on these and how happy they look, I cannot recommend them.

I bought two sets more than half of them have chipped soo upset I really liked them. If you microwave they are extremely hot !! Be careful. I gave 3 star because they are beautiful I waited for months to buy these only had them for a yr and already needing to replace . For 300$ not worth it!

Absolutely beautiful!! I paid more than I was planning on because I bought two sets and then purchased the set of large bowls, and a platter. But it’s because they were even prettier in person! The colors are striking and they’re sturdy and solid. Not light weight but you want them to be that way. I completely love them!
