Can you freeze sliced apples and run them through as well?

I don't see why not...I've used frozen pineapple, blueberries and peaches and they work. I have also used walnuts. :)

NO, it just takes in frozen fruit and makes it like sorbet. No dairy queen blizzards sorry.

Can I put already made ice-cream in the machine just to get the swirl effect?

You can also freeze yogurt and put that in with the frozen fruit instead of using ice cream, to keep it healthier
