Now that our trash service offers compostable pick up we needed something compostable to put our food waste in. Dumping food scraps directly into the green bin quickly became smelly and pest infested.These bags hold up much better than the others we tried. They don't break down too quickly (one brand we tried literally started dissolving within 48 hours). They do puncture more easily than even the cheapest plastic bags, but as long as we don't over fill them or put sharp edged things in them (like crab shells), they work well.They cost a bit more than some others, but they save us lots of time in cleaning out rotted scraps from our green bins.

These compost in the outdoor bin, but not so fast they fall apart before you're done using them to line the inside one.We've tried a couple other brands first, and often ended up pulling out the already-decomposing liner only to put it inside a second bag because there wasn't enough left to hold the contents. It was worse the more water in the food, to the point we stopped composting some things. These are good enough to handle even watermelon.It's everything I expected compostable bags to do generally, but haven't found in other brands.

I've been using these bags for a little over four years - the boxes last me about a year and I just ordered the fifth one. I've never experienced any leaking or sweating, they have overall been far better than any other compost bags I've tried.

These bags are great. I used others and they decomposed way too quickly. These work great! Strong bags!

These take up so little space as they are thin but strong. These also come well packed in a smallish box, which helps with organizing such items. Proce is also great given these are biodegradable. Good product.

These are a great biodegradable option for keeping compost tidy until compost pick-up day.
