This kit worked great. I was able to replace cracked glass on grandson's iPad. Key advice wear safety glasses. I watched video to learn how to replace. Guy recommended wearing safety glasses because the glass can snap and pop off. It did that and pieces of glass hit my safety glasses. I followed the directions of the YouTube Video and worked great. I needed three hands at one point of reattaching ribbon cable of glass and display to the iPad. Very satisfied. I contacted a local shop to replace glass and they wanted $199.

This kit is a piece of junk. The home button connector does not fit the original connector slot. The connector that this replacement comes with is to big and does not slide in easy as the original or as easy as my other iPad kit. Ended up shorting out my lcd screen trying to install this kit. Waste of money now I have a broken lcd screen that I have to replace now since this kit shorted mine out. Thanks a lot. Spend the extra money and buy a better kit.

had it installed on my ipad for a year now been working good for the most part but definitely check before completely assembling ipad. Mine has one small dead spot in the bottom left of the screen since I bought it. But since I already glued it down I just deal with it doesn't interfere too much. I recommend getting E6000 glue to hold the screen down and some plastic clamps. This digitizer doesn't have adhesive.

I was very skeptical of this product, but it worked and included everything I needed to make the repair. The adhesive is pre-installed, but is covered by hard plastic covers. I used the flat plastic scraper on the edge to get it started. I’ll post some tips below: 1.) Watch an instructional video in full before attempting. 2.) Wear eye protection and have a large flat space. There will be millions of tiny pieces of glass flying everywhere. I ended up blowing myself off with air duster at the end as well. 3.) Go slow. There are very delicate components that can be damaged easily by simply moving too fast or dropping something where it doesn’t belong. 4.) Goo gone works wonders in helping remove old adhesive. I sprayed some on a microfiber towel and rubbed the areas before scraping clean with blade. 5.) Note that the pre installed home button does not have touch function. Sadly I damaged mine and had to use the pre installed one. Thankfully it works fine. 6.) The cleaning pad they send sucks and is super tiny. You can use alcohol and microfiber instead. 7.) Do not touch the LCD digitizer screen! These are very sensitive and can easily be damaged. 8.) Good luck!

No instructions, best case scenario the home button no longer works to read finger prints. Followed instructions on the best youtube video available (as directed) and now the tablet doesn't boot up. Worst ever.

Good enough, but there is a patchy spot where sometimes the touch does not work. As far as the cost can’t really complain. I will probably end up having to replace again.

This iPad gen was a bit tough to replace. Once I broke off the old one and cleaned my surfaces, this came on easily and once powered I had to connect it to my Mac to sync it up. Straight forward process, my iPad is bak up and operating properly. May wanna use the old button to keep the biometric function in good condition, I didn’t even try the button it came with.

Funktioniert alles einwandfrei, ist eine günstige Lösung wenn man selbst das nötige Fingerspitzengefühl hat beim Einbau. Der Einbau ist nicht ganz einfach, hat aber mit Ruhe und Geduld geklappt seitdem läuft das IPad mit dem neuen Bildschirm schon seit einigen Wochen flüssig. Farben sind in Ordnung, natürlich aber nicht gleich dem Original, was man für den Preis aber auch nicht erwarten kann. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Mi hija tenía su iPad 6ta Generación sin usar porque mi hija quebró el touch pue accidente y quedó inservible el touch de la pantalla. Con esta pieza volví a revivir el iPad para que mi niña la use para hacer tareas y ver streaming. No funciona el botón de huella digital, pero no importa, si funciona como botón de HOME.

I recived the screen broken out of the box. I had to return it.

Screen was rough around the edges and the toolkit is a very bad quality.
