sure, the hose could be a little longer, but like many folks, i have extra hose that will fit, and attachments of all kinds, so that doesn't bother me or lessen the score. i started using it as soon as it arrived an will use it every day until it's death. i'm pleased with the amount of suction, the holding compartment size, noise level (way less than my old shop vac) which to me is a bonus, the fact that it does not have casters is also a bonus for me. the amount of output from the blow port makes it effective to use for blowing which to me is another good little bonus. it's light weight and easy to move. it is easy to open and dump out. it sounds and operates solid right out of the box and no funky electric smells or sparks like it is about to start burning, start a fire or may pose a danger to use. in today's disposable, junk product, world, i'm giving this one a solid 5 stars - for now...i will change the rating if or when the status changes. yes, i would buy this product again or for someone else, and recommend purchase for those looking for a small, portable, efficient vacuum. Great size! I've been using mine for two weeks now on a job site and at home, and it's so much easier to carry around than a full sized shop vac. It's powerful, really good at getting dust up and honestly isn't that loud for a shop vac type vacuum.The only downsides I've found is that it's easy to tip over if you pull on the hose, and the hose length, but there are longer ones on here I will try out.The best feature is the ability to plug the end of the hose in the outlet, and put all the cleaning tips into holders on the top. Makes carrying everything very easy.

I bought this a couple years ago so I didn't have to haul my 30 gallon shop vac around the house for small clean up jobs. This is perfect for that purpose. Nice and light so it's easy to carry around the house to wherever it is needed, or outside to clean the car. It's a reliable vacuum and it has always turned on when I needed it.A few minor complaints, but likely nothing that would keep me from ordering another one. First, the power cord is too short...they should have made it a 10 or 12 ft cord. Second, there is not really a great way to store the house. The best way I have found is to keep it plugged in to the vacuum port, and plug the other end of the hose into the "blower" port once everything is off. Related is the storage for the attachments. It kinda works, but could be better.

For a small unit, it has plenty of suction power and is lightweight for easy moving. As others have mentioned it can easily be knocked over and the auto shutoff turns the unit off requireing it to be turned off and switched back on to continue, it's mostly caused by it only having a four foot hose and trying to reach that extra inch, not a big problem. Cleans the carpets and trunk easily. We have many small leaves falling this time of year in Florida which always collect by the windshield wipers and in the crevises under the hood, it's great for getting in those small areas that eventually will end up in the cabin filter if not cleaned out, a breeze to clean out. I also use the blowing option to blow those same leaves out of my flower beds, it's easy to direct the air flow so as to not damage the plants or blow out the soil in the beds. Well worth the investment for my needs.

never once had to repair. after almost 7 years still here working, filter cloth is damage but other than that 10/10

I rarely take the time to write reviews, like most people, but I am in love with this little shop vac. I read all the reviews for both the larger shop vacs as well as the smaller ones, like this one, and I’m so glad that I picked this Stanley. I wanted a unit to vacuum up cat litter, dry cat food, and potting soil, also caused by the naughty cat who digs in my plants when I’m not looking, and this unit is powerful enough to accomplish all of these and more. This little guy is the perfect size to carry up and down the stairs, and of course, still has a much larger capacity than a little handheld vac, yet is not monstrous like the one I keep in the garage that I’m too lazy to haul up and down the stairs. I don’t know who needs this many vacuums for one person, but I’m thinking about buying another so I can have one on both floors because I use it almost daily. Everyone needs a little vac for the dirtier tasks that you may not want to use your the vacuum that you vacuum your carpets with. I don’t know why, but it just seems like a more sanitary option to keep separate vacuums.Make sure to check for all of your attachments, however, because the first box I received was missing the most important attachment for me. Shipping has been a bit of a problem, with multiple delays, but that is not the vacs fault; this little unit is worth the wait especially at this price point! Most of my handheld vacs were more expensive than this much larger unit.Buy it; you can’t go wrong with this great little appliance!

I prefer to buy brand name tools so I selected Stanley. It has more power than my old one, almost twice. The tank capacity is larger, and the accessories have a clever design that saves space. Some reviews stated the vacuum smells like hot electrical wires - mine did the first time I used it but not since. I will be using it for dust control for small tools - sander, router etc. Mostly I use it for clean up. Its size makes it easy to handle. My biggest issue is that hose. Its as stiff as a garden hose and even that wouldn't be bad if the hose had a swivel joint. Instead you have to cram it into the machine port - yes it will fit -where it won't move. I expected better from Stanley. Of course it is noisy - all of them are. You can use it as a blower, but it's no replacement for a leaf blower. The filter can be washed but its a messy process better done out side. If it weren't for the hose I'd give it more stars. Fortunately I have hoses from my old machine.

Great little wet/dry vac. I bought this to suck up melted snow from my garage mat in winter. This unit does the trick. Nice and compact it can be easily carried around. Very strong suction. As others have said, the cord is somewhat short but nothing an extension cord can’t fix.

Está aspiradora me había dejado muy satisfecho con su desempeño. Pero en una ocasión, solo cambie la manguera de la boquilla de succión a la boquilla de atrás (la de expulsión de aire) y salió volando, la aspiradora empezó a perder potencia y olió a quemado. La apague. Al poco tiempo la quise echar a andar y ya no reaccionó.

Works better than expected, powerful suction & blower performance. Reasonably priced.Dislikes : Both power cord & plastic hose are too short. Must plug into extension cord all the time. Wish there can be optional or include plastic hose extension. I still will recommend it despite these drawbacks.
