Don't buy these if you are looking for a traditional, durable safety pin. The metal is thin and easy to flex. I didn't need strength for my purposes, so I am very happy to get so many for this price. Normally I would buy this quality of safety pin at a dollar store but they have been out of stock for more than a year. I use them to keep pairs of mittens that I make together.

I bought these to make vintage style beaded and safety pin baskets. You need a lot of pins to make these, and these seemed like the best value. The hole on the head of these pins is very tiny and the wire would not fit through. I would not recommend these for craft projects of this nature. They are also flimsy and bend very easily.

These are the quality expected for the money and they got the job done however, if you were looking for a more durable metal pin, you should upgrade. These are flimsy and likely the best for attaching price tags or something similar. I would not use them to hold a hem or say the edges of curtains they should be used within material only. Easy to use an average size. Very sharp, penetrates the fabric easily. Holds on lighter fabrics only.

The safety pins are nice and sharp at the point which is important for me. Some can be blunt. They are also the perfect size for many uses.
