only let down by lack of earthing point.
Being all metal, it really needs a dedicated earthing point which it lacks but a little ingenuity solved the problem. Good solid construction, if not a little dated. Perfect match to a brass lamp.

Dangerous - don't buy
Looks good but dangerous. Insulation made of cling film and card board, no earth connection and v flimsy wiring connections. It does look the part so good as ornament but definitely not for actual use in the UK. I got a mains shock but lived to tell the tale. Can't recommend.

This is a dangerous product that shouldn't be sold. The inside neutral connection touches against the outer metal and creates a huge electrocution risk. DO NOT BUY IT! Amazon, stop selling it!!

No earth terminal, and poor insulation
This looks good, but is not safe. The two terminals are not contained/isolated, there is no earth terminal, and the "insulation" provided is simply a piece of cardboard.
