I bought these to try out as diapers and I love them. I anticipate being able to use these for a long time, with multiple children. They are a little more work than pocket or fitted diapers (folding, and then also take a little longer to put on), but I think it's a good trade-off for how versatile they are and how nicely they wash and dry. With just being a single layer, I feel like they get cleaner than a heavier diaper, and dry so quickly on the clothesline. They are really nice quality and are hemmed nicely. I have also bought GMD's Clotheez flats, and the fabric is identical. The main difference is size; these shrink to not-quite-square after starting out 27 inches square, while the GMD's are sized to end up a 27 inch square after shrinking. So the OsoCozy flats are a little cheaper, but smaller/not square, while the GMD's cost a little more but are a little larger and square; just pick what is your higher priority! Update: I have been using these for a year now and they are holding up well; a few light stains as you would expect, but fabric and seams holding up well. I use my GMD flats a little more, but I still wash these frequently (probably at least once a week). Very versatile; my "baby" is now 19 months and 23#, and these still fit well. I actually ordered more for our next child.

Pros: So soft, well made, dry after one time through the dryer, absorbent, one size fits all, multiple uses (honestly nice enough to use as a light blanket), hasn't held stains Cons: I didn't discover these sooner, takes a few more seconds to prep= not my first choice if we're running errands My baby is nine months and I've been using cloth diapers since he was a couple weeks old. Here's a rundown: -Started off with microfiber inserts: they're ok, can show stains, not the softest, didn't seem to wick wetness away from our baby, wash and dry easily -Found a need for the thick bamboo gusset inserts: great, don't stain, use at night, keeps him comfortable longer, held newborn poo well (the gussets), really absorbent, wicks moisture to the point where it's sometimes hard to tell if it's wet BUT usually run it through the wash twice to get them clean/soap free and twice through the dryer to get them dry= extra resources/energy/time to clean -Gerber flats and prefolds made it into the stash while traveling and in a pinch. Not soft, wash/dies easily, last ones I grab, the flats work better as wipes during his meals... -Imagine baby flats are thick, well made, large one size fits all, washes/dries easily, big tag, not as soft as the OsoCozy flats! -With another baby on the way, I'm expanding our diaper stash with easy wash/dry, soft, durable, multipurpose, good material (natural fibers) and these OsoCozy flats are perfect! Admittedly, they only get used during the day but they're the first ones I grab of the insert assortment. Highly recommend these. If you find flats aren't your thing, these are nice enough to use as a light baby blanket.

These are great flat Birdseye cotton diapers. They have great feel to them and they are large. At a little over a dollar a piece, these are a great deal. I don’t use for baby diapers, but they would be excellent compared to the other flat cloth diapers. These last years, do not fray, and sure they shrink a little but they are 100% cotton. They wash well and even bleach well if they get stained. I have used these to make burp cloths, to make kitchen tea towels, to clean with, and I buy a few packs at a time to have on hand. You can’t buy fabric of this quality by the yard at this price. I love these.

These flats seem to be of great quality. I plan to prep them by boiling them and wash/dry once, rather than washing/drying 2-3 times. The texture of these are very soft and light weight and can be folded for absorbency as flats should. I chose the unbleached because I felt it would be a better investment since they are said to be more absorbent and hold up better. I was hesitant about the color considering I thought they may look stained or offensive being of a yellowish tint, but they are actually not offensive at all! They just look natural and nice, definitely more of a sandy shade. If these work well for our LO as diapers then we will be purchasing more! If we don't go the flat diapering route then we will always be able to use these as some great burp clothes or receiving blankets :) I think either way these are a great buy! Definitely worth a try. After extensive flat diaper research I've found OsoCozy to have a great reputation, so I'm having a great feeling about these and can't wait to try them out. Will update review Update after prep: still meeting expectations. I boiled them for 30mins and then handwashed them with purex hypoallergenic det. So I didn't mix them with my clothes which have body lotion. I dried in the dryer for as long as the amount of coins I had would let me then hung them inside away from any neighbor's smoking. Once dried I took an iron to them and they are still wonderful. They have shrunk to what I've expected and are a tighter weave too. I can still smell a wood/paper scent which will probably fade the more I wash them. Update 4/18/15. These are great! I may buy more. My only concern with them ( hand wash/hang dry) is that they are a tiny bit too rough for my comfort going against babies skin, but definitely not rough enough to be a deal breaker. They holdup really well and absorb nicely. The paper smell is no longer present. 5 stars if they were softer, but I still really like these a lots and would buy more if I needed more flats. Maybe these flats in the other available types of cotton are softer?

I got 2.5 dozen of these from my baby registry almost 2 years ago and came back to leave this review after buying more for a new baby due in March. This isn't because they're worn out. In fact most still look brand new with only a couple having light staining. Previous baby, not yet 2 years old isn't potty learning yet and I need to increase my stash since he's a heavy wetter and requires 2 at each change now and there isn't enough to share. OsoCozy VS. GMD New baby makes baby number 7 for me in all. Prior to baby number 6 I used Green Mountain Diapers flats (aka Cloth-eez). If you aren't familiar with the brand, they're supposedly the best. However, I can't tell the difference between the 2 brands unless I compare the serging technique on the newer ones. Prior to the newer ones (2000's), they were all bleached (my oldest is in college, so this is a long time ago). The softness, thickness and over-all quality are the same though. Flats VS. Prefolds I prefer flats because they dry faster and are more durable than prefolds since they don't rely on stitching to keep multiple layers held together. They also stain less and sun easier. I also like that I can fold them to the size I need without buying different sizes. I do have some prefolds laying around from babies number 3-5 that I'm not afraid to use. They just aren't my preference.

I have only ever used these diapers for my cloth diapering and I will probably never choose another system. I have saved SO much money by avoiding disposables and buying into the new cloth diapering trend of cute cloth diaper covers and crazy inserts and whatever. For my stash, I have 4 sets of these flat diapers, 4 sets of wool covers in s/m/l (2 that look like a binki bottom with velcro straps, and 2 of a version that look like mini shorts,)10 hemp liners for bedtime, and Bumpkins diaper liners for poop clean up, and a pack of Snappi's to secure these flat diapers. I have saved a lot of money by knitting the diaper covers and sewing the hemp liners as well, it's always cheaper to make things yourself then shell out $40+ for single items. So I want to address some things about these diapers: 1. You can just boil them once for 20 minutes, throw them in the washer and dryer- but NO fabric softener EVER, and they will be ready for use. 2. Yes, they shrink just a SMIDGE. 3. Yes, they are no longer perfect and square after washing- they do become regtangular-ish. 4. Yes, they will all become a different shape and one will not match another. 3. The odd shape of the flat diapers after DO NOT affect folding. The beauty of cloth diapers is that nobody cares if they aren't perfect. 4. I have used these diapers folds with no problems: newspaper, burrito, happy anteater, and angel wing. I just adjust the folding as my daughter grows. My favorite is the newspaper fold, I think it's the easiest and is the most comfortable but that's just my opinion. 5. Yes, the two hemmed edges are bulky but my daughter has never complained about them, I don't think babies care about things like that, more of an issue with parents. 6. How I use them- fold them into my preference, put a diaper liner for poop, secure them with a snappi, put a wool cover over, and then put clothes on. I never had an issue with bulkiness after putting clothes on. Nobody even notices that my daughter has cloth diapers. And for night time, I do the same exact thing but I add a hemp liner for extra absorbency. 7. Lastly, if any parent has issues with absorbancy, it is best NOT to use fabric softener, and since these are cloth diapers and not disposables, they are NOT meant to be worn for long periods of time without any additional lining. I change my daughter at least every hour-hour and a half. She's constantly wetting herself. I also have never had an issue with leaks. Only time I have to change her clothes is when she drools on herself or spits up. Her bottom stays perfectly dry.

I use flats almost exclusively. I bought these back in January, my first brand-new "real" flats (protip: receiving blankets are a fantastic alternative) other than Gerber flats. Out of the package, they're nice and crisp, obviously thicker than the Gerbers. Prep is easy--boiling them works well. You can also partially prep them by just washing once or twice, and they'll work just fine, but not be as soft as after multiple washes (but you're going to wash them often anyway, so they'll catch up). They're a very good size (my only quibble with Gerber flats is their small size) and will last through toddlerhood and probably several children, as cloth diapers are meant to. As all flat diapers, they're multipurpose. They make good baby towels and puke wipers and impromptu light blankets and peek-a-boo cloths when clean; my older girls steal them for use as capes. They hardly shrink at all. My only quibble, in fact, is that though they've shrunk less than an inch, they've managed to shrink out of the square shape they were when they came. I think that's due to how two of the edges have a different hem. It's a tiny difference, though, and so a very minor complaint.

The package arrived in 9 days so the seller did a great job. Yet to use the product but seems absorbent and long lasting. As reviewed by many, the product looses its square shape and gets a slightly more rectangular. But that works fine in origami or kite fold. The cloth is definitely something you wont find in the regular market unless you visit a whole-seller. I was unable to find in our local markets (south delhi). Will update the review once I've used the product.

Dries up well, absorbs well, safe for baby skin. Will have to see how it works for me during rainy days. Overall good experience since 3 weeks or so.

Don't buy it! They are just square pieces of common cotton cloth, probably worth less than a dollar. There's really nothing more to them. If you try to return it, then you will have to pay for shipping. Total scam.
