Liquid Eyeliner

This is my favorite eyeliner. For me, it is absolutely much proof, but not waterproof. It’s very concentrated I noticed, which gives it a very tense black look. Which I love. But it also means that as soon as water comes in contact with the eyeliner, it creates a mess. But that’s often the case, tears, etc. always make Makeup run. I love this eyeliner.

I usually cannot wear eye makeup without it looking terrible just minutes after putting it on. This is because I live in the tropics. It is humid and hot year round here. On top of that, I have oily skin and hooded eyelids. So when I blink my eyes (with other brand eyeliners) you see an extra line on my lid where the lid touches itself. Throughout the day it gets more smudged and looks worse. By the end of the day, I look like a hot mess. HOWEVER, this eyeliner stays put and looks good after several hours out and about running errands in the heat. No extra line when my eyelids touch. No raccoon eyes. No smudge. A nice clean line that stays. I’m so glad I decided to give it a try. Also I like that it is NOT waterproof and comes off easily when I wash my face. Stays when I need it too, but easy to remove. I find that waterproof eyeliners smudge more, yet are harder to remove. So I stay away from them. This is perfect. If you look at the attached pictures. You can see when my eyes are open there is a hood and makeup tends to smudge. In the bottom picture where I’m looking down, you can see my entire eyelid and there is no smudge. This picture was taken 5 hours after applying it and after running errands in humid weather.

Eyeliner seems to work well and goes on smooth. Love that it’s non toxic. Never really got the hang of liquid liner but I’m learning now, lol. Quality seems good

Pretty good. I wanted something gentle for sensitive eyes, and easy to apply and remove. This fits the bill. Doesn't bother my eyes at all. Matte after drying. It does seem to get in your eyes a lot during removal, but I'm not sure if that's normal for liquid eyeliner. VERY messy during removal/touch ups. I don't have oily skin or sweat much, but if you do, this one may not be for you. It comes away very easily with water or makeup remover and smears all over, so be aware of that. I haven't had any trouble with it coming off or smudging throughout the day, except in the lower outer corner as sometimes I have tearing there, not noticable, though.

Really wanted this to work, but my natural eyeliner search continues... The color is TERRIFIC for a true black matte. Silvery shinier bits in liners make my eyes look busy and small instead of graphic and bold. Did not find a problem with the brush tip like others did. I rarely wear liner and am by no way a pro at wingtips on my odd and hooded eyes... but still, the applicator worked well. I found the container size perfect for application, but really a wast of plastic, adding weight to my purse... not to mention added weight to our transpo system. Honest needs work on most of their containers. The caps of the lip balms/stains always fall off. The big problem was that it smudged too often and too fast. I end up having eyeliner only above my lashes and not the wing extension, after 3hours. Skin is combination and rarely ever too oily by eye area. When I need longer wear, an old BareMinerals soft liner pencil works better. (not sure if they are discontinued). Good try, Honest, keep up the good work-- and PLEASE make balms that arent so freaking shiny. At least they arent as bulky as that Dior balm crap in a buldgy pop colored toy lid. Not only is it too large to stuff into tight jean pockets, but its also cheap and juvenile looking for a near $40 balm. The Covergirl Teddy blur balm lid is a 100x cuter for the same translucent colored effect. (not that I buy the Dior Addict anymore because there are other good nontoxic PH balms like Jane Iredale (good but not at stunning at the Dior addict balm). The MAC undertone comes close to the Dior Addict, but its not a balm nor nontoxic... it just fits better in the jean pocket. Why cant they just use refillable metal containers for such pricey products as these balms?

I’m honestly obsessed with this eyeliner. The tip is precise and smooth, so it’s easy to get a clean line even if you’re not great with liquid liners. It dries quickly and doesn’t smudge, flake, or transfer throughout the day, even after long hours. The color is a true black, not grayish or watery, and it gives that crisp look without feeling heavy. I’ve used it on both bare lids and over eyeshadow, and it holds up beautifully either way. Plus, it’s hypoallergenic, vegan, and cruelty-free, which I really appreciate. It’s long-lasting but still easy to remove at the end of the day with a gentle cleanser. This has definitely become one of my go-to eyeliners, reliable, clean, and looks great every time.

For what it is, this is great eyeliner. It does smudge easily by the end of the day but that comes with the territory of clean beauty. I find I don't care enough and it looks fine at a distance. This is my go-to as someone that overthinks cosmetics and every other consumer purchase. It eases my mind until I can assess the risk of more (openly) common products and figure out what works for me. Right now it's my staple eyeliner. Worth a try!

My one, and only, eye liner. I’ve been using this eyeliner for years (guessing 5+ years) - it is perfect. It meets all of my eyeliner needs: •clean, safe ingredients - a must for my beauty products and especially for something next to your eye! •stays put all day. Like legit. (does not smear) •easy to apply (liquid and application tip are spot on for an easy application) •easy to fix an application error (wet a q-tip and run it along the line for an easy, effective clean up). •no odor. IYKYK. I’m allergic to fragrance & it is surprising how many makeup products have fragrance added to them! Not this one! I’ve used a ton of Honest brand products for over a decade now. Some are great, some are so/so. This eyeliner is perfection. I hope they never stop making it.

Just been so super happy with this cheap yet high-quality eyeliner. Last all day, don't cause me any itchiness around the eyes. Will 100% buy again! Anne Singapore

Never used an eyeliner as terribly designed as this! It didn't stay on and smeared everywhere when I blinked in the day. Obviously this product can't even stand a bit of sweat or tears. I had to check on a mirror and wipe the smudges throughout the day. So I gave up on this and bought a new eyeliner from another brand. It wasted my money.

Muy buen producto y mucho más natural que otros más económicos. Yo prefiero este sobre todo si es de uso seguido porque los otros productos no tienen garantía de calidad de sus ingredientes y hay que tener mucho cuidado con lo que absorbe la piel.

Love this stuff! Goes on smooth and lasts all day. Looks great! Overall a pretty clean product, ingredient wise. Will buy again and again!

My only go to from now on as I finally found a solution to liquid eyeliners. It stays on without giving me a line on upper lid, does not irritate, can even stay on water line of upper eyelid, easy to remove. Only con is they only have it in black.
