Product is super easy to use, stays contained, no mess. Chip compatible - no errors. The only problem was I couldn’t get the printer to print the black ink 🫠 I tried everything I could think of (alignment, reinstall, factory reset, cleaning printer heads, the whole bit) before my 17th “invisible ink” version aka my blank piece of white paper. I contacted customer service and they attempted to help me solve the issue via chat.. after cleaning printhead for the first time I was still getting then same result. I let her know and I decided to try again, (even though at this point they offered to ship me an immediate replacement), and to my surprise.. it actually worked! Thank you, Alyssa, for your help. Her recommendation to flip the cartridges for a set amount of time & then reinstall made the fix seamless. I wish I would’ve asked for help sooner🫠👀😂Adorable packaging, who doesn’t love stickers. Excellent customer service & warranty info. Efficient and kind assistance! Humanizing printing, when everyone else is trying to automate it (or automate anything really). Definitely makes the company stand out.

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 and use a 902 XL ink set. Buying HP ink cartridges are very expensive and doesn’t last very long. I went through Amazon and ordered ink from Smart Ink. I have to print a lot of wiring schematics, drawings and pictures. The quality and quantity of these prints were amazing.I made another order and two of the cartridges appear not to work. I scanned the code on the paperwork that came with the cartridges for tech-support and explain my concern. Within minutes, Edgar from tech-support reviewed my concern and contacted me in less than 5-minuets and is sending me warranty replacements.Due to the fast response by Edgar in Tech Support, I received the new cartridges and they work perfectly. I’m staying with Smart Ink for my cartridge replacements. Well done.

I ordered two sets of cartridges. The first ones worked great for 5 months. When I installed the second set the printer refused to accept them. I got the message “Non-HP chip Detected” which means that the printer firmware had been updated and it would only accept HP cartridges ($$$). I contacted customer support and they offered a way to change the firmware in the printer or they would send me a new set of cartridges. I opted for replacement cartridges which I received in two days. Great support!

Great ink and excellent customer service! I had a small hiccup during installation, but customer service responded immediately and resolved the issue. My printer is now working perfectly, and the print quality is excellent. Very happy with this purchase!

I had a problem with one cartridge but a replacement has been ordered for me by customer service. Will update if anything changes. Update: new cartridge isn't working either. I have used this ink before and did not have a problem. I don't know what is happening now. Final update: the cartridge replacement did not work, but it isn't a Smart Ink problem; it's an HP problem. I said what I said. Don't buy an HP printer. Period. Smart Ink customer service will do everything possible to resolve any issues that you have with this product.

Smart Ink compatible cartridges work the best with my HP printer. I've bought other brands that just would not work because of HP not reading the chip. I hate that HP makes their ink so darn expensive and makes it almost impossible to use other compatible brands of cartridges but I love the versatility of my printer auto feed, enlarge and minimize. Dont want to buy another printer when this still works well. Thank you Smart Ink for making a compatible cartridge. You've got me as a customer for as long as my printer is alive! 😀

Giving 4 stars because I had trouble getting this ink to be compatible with my HP 6954. Once I learned how to turn off network updates that cause problems with 3rd party ink carts, it was still giving trouble with ink being dull. Reached out to cust. service and they are sending a replacement priority. Will come back to update! Andrew with Customer Care was awesome to work to resolve this issue.

HP latest firmware blocked one of my new cartridges. I emailed Support, within five minutes got a response and they will have new cartridges to my home tomorrow as I was reluctant to independently reinstall an older version of their firmware. Total resolution time was on the order of 10–15 minutes and overnight service to replace cartridges is truly amazing. Could not ask for any better.Followup: Cartridges arrived the next day as promised and worked like a charm.I fail to understand how HP is allowed to sell you a device and then retroactively limit what ink you can use, but it is what it is. THANK YOU to Smart InkI have no commercial or personal connection to Smart Ink. Replacement cartridges supplied under warranty, no special treatment.

I have purchased them before and they worked well. I was so happy with them that I purchased another box a couple of months ago to have on hand when needed. I just went to use them on the weekend and the new box of cartridges is not recognised by my HP printer. What has changed?? What can I do? I have googled and tried all the tricks, but my printer still doesn't recognise the chips.

I have a great story customer service story to relate. I have purchased this product twice and it has helped me beat the HP extortion prices for their ink. This morning I woke up and my printer would not work--the screen saying the ink cartridges were not HP OEM--HP shutdown my printer and therefore my business on a Saturday. Somehow I got a HP update--I avoid them like the plague--knowing the update would spot the non-compliant ink. I called the assistance phone number for Smart Ink. Ben told me that HP had done a global forced update (how dare they!) the night before. He emailed me a link to fix the problem--It worked! Ben also said that if the link did not work he would rush mail me a full set of new cartridges. WOW! what a great service!!!! BWT, the ink seems to be the same quality as the HP OEM ink for a fraction of the price. Win-Win for me.New update, a few issues remained with the HP printer, Smart Ink has now sent me a complete set of ink to resolve the HP issues. The support I have been given by this company, far after the 30 days we normally get from Amazon products is absolutely incredible. THANK YOU Smart Ink!

Mon Imprimante HP détectait que la 1ère série de cartouches 902XL reçues de Smart ne consistait pas en de cartouches d'origine HP et les refusait. Dès que j'ai contacté Smart, ceux-ci m'ont proposé 2 alternatives: Soit la 1ère: Que j'utilise une procédure pour enlever le Update de mise à jour automatique de HP sur mon imprimante ou la 2ème: Qu'ils m'expédient une nouvelle série de cartouches ayant déjà eux-mêmes fait la mise à jour. J'ai opté pour la 2ème proposition. Sur réception de la 2ème série de cartouches tout a bien fonctionné et mon imprimante a bien fonctionné, m'avisant que ce n'étaient pas des cartouches HP d'origine mais acceptait quand même de les utiliser. Quant à la 1ème série reçue, même en ayant fait la procédure reçue sur mon imprimante pour désactiver les mises à jour automatiques de celle-ci par HP, les cartouches de la 1ère série étaient toujours détectée non d'origine et refusées par mon imprimante. Merci Smart d'avoir respecté votre garantie de qualité et de m'avoir remplacé ma première série de cartouches reçues par une nouvelle série de cartouches qui fonctionnent très bien . Je recommande SMART à tous et je recommanderai de nouveau de leurs produits au besoin.
