perfection
If you look through other reviews I have made you will see I don't often say a product is perfect, this break set is perfect. Feel great, installed easily, fit perfectly, great price. If you own a 328xi and need rear breaks just get this kit, it really is as nice of a kit for any car that you could buy. I would add in here I see people do breaks a little wrong at times, do take the time / effort to clean and grease the appropriate places on the calipers when installing. Don't be worried about doing breaks on a BMW if anything they are easier than other makes. I'm typing this on my phone the day after so forgive any typos. The sizes are as correct as I can recall but may vary slightly due to faulty memory on my part.Step 1 is open the fluid reserve, suck all the old fluid you can out and fill with new fluid leave the cap off so there is no pressure.Just pop off the plastic covers to access the 2 hex bolts (7 mm), unscrew these until loose they will not come all the way out.Wiggle the caliper until you can pull it off, remove pads and sensors.Take off the 2 (16 mm) bolts on the back of the caliper.Remove the hex guide bolt on the front of the rotor (6 mm), remove old rotor. That is all there is to disassemble the rear breaks.Clean the calipers up. I use a wire brush and break cleaner.Apply a high quality break grease to the areas the pads move against metal.I like to apply a small amount of high temp anti seize to the hub before putting on the new rotor so it's easier to get off in the future. Clean the hub up.Clean the back of the new rotor with break cleaner to remove the oil that is applied to prevent corrosion from the manufacturer. Make sure to clean the inside where the parking break contacts as well.Put the new rotor on, install the guide bolt. Clean the front of the rotor.Apply break grease to the ears of the new break pads make sure not to get any on friction part of the pad. Apply break quiet to the back of the break pads, set aside for the break quiet to setup usually 10 mins or so.Compress the break caliper piston, ideally you open the bleed valve while doing this step to make sure you get the worst of the old break fluid out but you can skip this step if need be. I always make sure to get the worst fluid out at this point versus pushing it up the line.Clip the new pad into the compressed caliper piston.Pull the hex bolts out gently, apply break grease to these to ensure smooth operation.Install the outward facing portion of the caliper with the 2 (16 mm) bolts. Insert the outside pad. Slip the inside portion of the caliper over the newly installed pad, line up the hex bolts and tighten them.If this is the passenger side install the sensor at this time.Bleed the break caliper, you can do this in a number of ways, vacum pump being the easiest / quickest, but a cheap one person bleeder works just fine.Do the other side, same way.Seat the pads according to instructions, I believe these said drive normally to warm them up then perform a few hard stops.Done.

I own a 2010 BMW 328i coupe and these brakes were an excellent fit. I just want to say that upon receiving and opening the package, I only saw one sensor and immediately emailed Callahan Brake Parts. If I can say their response was one of the fastest I’ve ever gotten from a customer service department. They advised me that this vehicle only calls for one sensor which I had figured out once I started doing the work. So with that being said, in the future I will continue to order from this company with great confidence.

Perfect fit. No problems with installation other than learning the emergency brake uses the inside of the rotor as a drum. Other than that the install went off without a hitch and was quite easy compared to other European cars I've done work on.
