I almost returned this because it looked like it was all black. I accidently touched the "red" side, and the red ink came off on my finger. I installed this and it does in fact print in black AND red. The fact that the felt on the red side was also black was very misleading. This is a two color ink pad that works perfectly in my adding machine. You can't beat this for the price.

I was ready to toss out my very old adding machine because I could no longer read the numbers on the printed tape. I couldn't see any way to change the ink rollers.......but as a last resort I found a YouTube video which showed how EASY it was to change the ink roller. I easily found the replacement part on Amazon and it was here in a couple of days. I changed the roller and now I can easily read the printed tape. and, as another bonus it made me eager to take on some accounting projects I had been putting off.

I have had my canon P23-DH-V calculator for 15+ years, and I didn't even know you could change the roller much less buy them. When one day while looking for something else on Amazon, I saw the identical calculator, and under it was ink roller replacements. After reading reviews on them is when I found out you could replace them, and how to do it. I got the three(3) pack and put one in and it was as easy as stated and works perfect..

Week 1 of my summer break: My parents ambushed me as I walked through the door of our family owned business, begging me to take a look at the Canon P23-DH V calculator. "It's broken, it's not working, and we need you to fix it! How else are we supposed to tax the merchandise customers purchase on a daily basis?!" I'll admit, I had no idea how to take this thing off of the calculator. I was baffled. It took me a whole 15 minutes to get it off (It was so simple. I felt dumb, and I went to college T-T). This "package of 3" came in 2 days later, Thanx to Prime (thanx Prime!), I replaced the cartridge and viola, good as new. We've had this calculator for 12 years now and it's the only one my technologically impaired parents are confident using, so I was pretty grateful to see that these cartridges were still in circulation.

I haven't been able to see the printed negative amounts on my calculator paper for a couple of years. The red ink went out soon after I purchased my calculator. The ink cartridge must have been old or defective. I am loving doing my bookwork now that all of the numbers show up and I wish I hadn't waited so long. I did try to find an ink cartridge in my area but all they could tell me was they could order one. I am sure it would have been more expensive to do that. Now I have a reserve supply and the low cost was appreciated.

I have received only 1 pack of ink roller instead of 3 ink roller and I initiated a return request and the person didnot receive the parcel
