Auto Metal Direct 300-4194-4 4" Cowl Induction Hood

Hood fits perfect for 2004 blazer xtreme. Cowl gives it a good look, it has a mesh screen near the windshield. Hood squirter holes are higher up than original hood so may need to modify some longer hose to have those work, but I will be filling those holes in with bondo I wont be using the squirrels. Very minor scratches in the paint in a couple areas but hardly noticeable, no big deal to me because I will be painting it. No dents. Hood was protected well in package. The box had thick cardboard in the corners of hood and bubble wrap down the middle. I’m very pleased with this hood.

I ordered 1 and it was damaged but I was refunded and ordered a second one and it came perfect!

Beautiful hood. Very well made. Only reason for the 4 star review is the way it is packaged the two front corners are pressure points inside the box which scuffed one side and dented the other side. The box was in perfect shape. It’s hard to tell where in the shipping process this might happen, but oh well. Lots of body work still to do anyway. It just sucks to have to do it on a brand new hood. All in all I am very happy with quality and the look. Very nice.

Fit as well as the factory original. Had to realign the squirters, they are on top of the cowl and were shooting over the roof. The noise level didn't noticeably change with the underhood blanket removed.

Hood had dent in each front corner plus the scoop being high you gain nothing because the cross frame under neath dont allow for air cleaner clearance because the frame is right over carb
