AFTON Xterra ERG 600W Water Rower

I bought this rowing machine a few yrs back and was happy with it. I have stored it in my bedroom as directed by the manufacturer on the side and for the past couple of yrs I haven't used it and when I went to use it I found water leaking and noticed a crack on the water tank on the top and bottom. I informed the seller I bought it from and he said will cost 16k for a new one and when I told him about the crack he said it plastic and that's how it is won't last more than 3 to 4 yrs. So if u wanna keep throwing money into this every 3 to 4 yrs go ahead and buy it.

The machine was delivered on July 14, just one day behind the 'quickened' schedule. The assembly instructions in the manual were very good and the machine was assembled in about an hour or so. So far, I'm very happy with it,having used it for about four days now. It's easy to use and obviously burns calories fast, looking at the fact that you start sweating in about 3 minutes or so, even though I use it at a slowish pace. Highly recommended but consult your orthopaedician if you have arthritic knees or hips (I have osteoarthritis in the knees, though it's generally painful only while getting up from a chair with no arms). A few years later, need to add that the seat is too small and can cause lower back pain. The seat should be larger. For those who've already bought it, try and see if you can get a larger seat from automobile seat dealers in your local motor market (in India).

I needed a water rower since its silent and soothing. There are hardly any good water rowers in India, and many are way too expensive. If you are a professional or very serious about rowing then you can go with Concept2 but its very loud and expensive. I found one on Flipkart but it looked substandard, since you'll be investing good amount of money better to go with a branded one. There are not many good water rowers in India, I loved this product, it's sturdy and reliable. Afton delivered it in 3 days, great shopping experience.

xterra water rower is gud company, so ordered. since its heavy amazon doesnt deliver. nikesh from afton has been in touch from time of order. order deilvered installed myself as it is only four steps. its running gud so far with smooth water swooshing sound.

It's a great machine for low impact workouts. Easy to operate, kind on the knees. At first pass, it almost feels too easy. The challenge is to do it sustainably for twenty minutes or more. The body feels wonderful after that and great a full workout. My mom, who is 68 and unable to walk much is able to use this machine with ease. Would highly recommend it for people of all ages groups. The machine itself is well built, easy to store, stable.

This is a fantastic product. The product quality is excellent. Delivery experience by the sellers was flawless. Would recommend with out reservation.
