5 STARS! WOW ! What a Shine !!
5 STARS ! WOW !WOW !! THIS STUFF IS AWESOME.I needed to clean my Copper Hades Mechnical Mod to remove the patina.. Welp. it did just that, and in fact, my Copper Hades Mech Mod is like BRAND NEW AGAIN. I also tested this stuff on a 95 year old penny. Guess what? IT WORKS !!!If you don't believe me, and if you honestly think that spending currently ($25.86) for the 8.82oz. can of this stuff isn't worth it, it in fact is worth every penny.. lol. get it.. I said penny.Anyways, check out my video on this stuff, I actually did a 1080p video at 20Mbps of me cleaning a 95 year old penny. My video can be found by searching " Simichrome vs 95 Year Old Penny " on YouTube, that's the title of my video. It turned the old, abused, dirty 95 year old penny into what I think it would of looked like if you were to get this penny 95 years ago, when if first came out in circulation.I absolutely love this stuff, very nice to have around.OH, and another thing, those that say it doesn't work on Sterling Silver, in in fact does. I actually cleaned my best friends 32" 92.5% Pure silver necklace. He actually brought it to JC Penny like a few years back and they cleaned it for him. I said, how long has it been since you cleaned that thing.. He says it's been quite some time. I said let me see it. I took it, I layed a clean, white terry cloth on my knee, made it just one straight necklace, and dipped a little simichrome on the cloth on my knee, and drug it back & forth, back & forth threw the simichrome... guess what happened..? IT CLEANED IT ! You would not imagine the BLACK that came off that necklace. Boy o boy did that sterling silver shine by the time I was done with it.. Looked really nice. My friend said when he went to work the next day, he got all kinda of complements, some of them asking if he had gotten a new necklace.. he said nope.. my friend used Simichrome on it, and made it look brand new again, no bull s****. I kid you not. THIS STUFF IS VERY COOL. Must have if you have metal parts that need some cleaning. Makes things shine, if you buff the stuff, like what I did with the 95 year old penny, it will give it a mirror finish. Absolutely awesome. I actually head of the Mothers first, but then I read the comments about Simichrome being a little better.. So I did some research and watched some YouTube videos on this stuff, turns out Simichrome is not only better, but also more popular on YouTube than Mothers.

Ladies, stick with the tube!
I always love my simichrome, and I have yet to ever run out of a tube...instead - because I carry it with me everywhere - I tend to lose a tube once in a great while. I bought the tub this time and figured that a.) How can you lose a huge tub of chrome polish? and b.) I will make little to-go cups with me for my jewelry-hunting and vintage plastic testing outings...I cannot give any less than 5 stars because the product remains the best of the best - but I should have stuck with the tube. It took me a wile to become accustomed to opening the lid - although now I keep a steel flat head utensil nearby and "pop" it open. The smell is overwhelming so for for my uses it is simply too much of a good thing. I tend to make a mess with it while trying to work with q-tips and not be wasteful. I nearly got a blob on the poor cat's tail the other day.I have yet to conquer re-closing the tub. (although there are many dents in the top where I tried a million ways each time before giving up and allowing my husband to close it up and have a good laugh at my expense. I am unsure what he does but he manages to get it re-sealed. Left to my own devices, it would likely be a dried up mass by now. This was a bad decision on my part but should not dissuade others with large jobs (large areas of silver, chrome, cars, handles, pipes etc.) from buying it in this way as it is a good deal. For a little woman looking for very little treasures, I should have stuck it out with the tube!Oh, and I also have yet to find a suitable "to-go" case that I can transfer a blob that I can reseal without: drying it out, getting it all over EVERYTHING, and being able to use it quickly for my needs when out and about and not trying to draw attention to my pink q-tip testing the surface of things for sale at junk shops :)Still, it bears repeating, that simichrome is the ONLY chrome polish - nothing compares and I will undoubtably have this tub throughout the next decade as it lasts forever!

Even high grade silver polish did no good whatsoever. I thought it was permanently ruined along ...
Recently paid $4,300 for a nickel shower set--the pipe is meant to be exposed in all its glittering glory in front of and not behind the shower wall. The contractor installed it and didn't protect it with plastic sheeting while they were in the garage remodeling it into a speakeasy for my husband. There was every kind of dust imaginable raised in there for months. When I walked into the shower stall one day and saw what had happened to my gorgeous shower, I swore heads would roll and the idiots wouldn't get paid until they fixed it. They tried every chrome polish they could find at O'Reilley's, Auto Zone, Pep Boys and even Home Depot and Lowe's. Even high grade silver polish did no good whatsoever. I thought it was permanently ruined along with my marriage until I called the manufacturer of the shower and they highly recommended Simichrome which I found on Amazon. The rest is history--the "idiots" got their money and I got my sanity and marriage back.

Can arrived dented. Tough to pry open -- and place lid back on.
I like simichrome, but the low stars are because I don't think I will ultimately get my money's worth from a can that arrived dented, was obviously tricky to open, and doesn't close flush. Also, product picture is misleading. There is no tube with the can. Just the can. And some dents.
