Pro Large Adjustable Post Basketball Set

I shopped around for a long time, trying to find the perfect indoor hoop for our living room. We are a basketball family so we’re always hooping. We are extremely happy with this hoop. It’s even sturdier and bigger (in a good way) than I expected it to be. We’ve spent hours hooping on it already. It's a huge huge upgrade from our little tikes hoop that my son grew up learning on. It’s very stable and there hasn’t been any hints of it tipping over at all. The backboard is great because it is wide enough to add some jelly on my layups. The only small issue I have is that the when the ball goes through the net, sometimes it lands on the base and shoots off in a different direction and I have to go chasing after it. However, on the flip side, I also like the base because it doesn’t stick out far in the back, which allows me to place the hoop closer to the wall, and have more room to hoop. So it's really just a tradeoff, which I am totally ok with. I love the hoop so much that I just recommended it to a good friend of mine who will be purchasing also.

This hoop is pretty fantastic! PROS The height adjustment is very easy to understand and use. Once you pick the height you want, there’s a tongue and groove (see photos) engineered so the height WILL NOT CHANGE no matter how hard my 7 year old dunks on it. That’s where the durability shines. This hoop has been dunked on 100s of times, quite ferociously, and it’s still a tank. Has Daddy dunked on it? Oh yeah! This is a massive upgrade from the little tikes hoops. CONS Only a couple. The rim has never been perfectly parallel with the ground (but none of them are it seems). The rim has a very small dip in the front where I’d guess it’s about 2 degrees away from parallel with the floor. Definitely not a deal breaker and not bad enough to take off a star. The only other little thing that bugged me was the backboard square has no color. There is a square indent (1” wide), so you can kinda see the square if you’re lining up a bank shot, but I think they should’ve painted it at the factory. Again not annoying enough to take a star off a well deserving 5 stars. NOTE: I bought 1” black gaffers tape and laid it down inside the existing indent (see photo). It works extremely well! I took my time with an exacto knife to make it look as close to factory as possible. That tape hasn’t budged once since I put it on last Christmas. Super pleased with it! Overall, I love this hoop and so do my boys. Last thing, parent tip. We bought a set of higher quality, 6” dodgeballs to use as basketballs while using the hoop in the house. They obviously don’t bounce as high as rubber basketballs, but they’ve been awesome at not causing damage to anything in the house because they don’t fly off the rim at high speeds, even if thrown hard. Having said all that, they do still having a reasonably satisfying bounce and they’re awesome shooting at the hoop. Hope this was helpful!

This is SOLID, my kids are enjoying every second of it. They wake up only to play and shoot baskets in the living room. It is going to get very hot here and I really wanted something for them in the house so they can keep practicing and so that they dont lose interest in practicing. I love how short and tall the hoop can adjust. It was super easy to build. I ended up using sand for the base took about 1 bag of sand. Again this is way better then any hoop made by Playskool or Little Tykes, and its made for all ages wish I had bought this one awhile back before I purchased 2 of the other brand hoops.

Amazing hoop for the kids(and myself) wish I had one of these growing up! I had one very small issue, their customer service immediately responded and took care of it above and beyond my expectations!!

Sturdy hoop and perfect for my boys 5 & 8. Great for indoor and outdoor, we have all size basketballs and all of them work great. Taller than the little tikes hoop and much stronger!

Bought this from the kids at the summer camp, they loved it! Very stable item and fun for the kids. The age range for this is probably 6 to 12 years old even though some of the adults use it LOL. Nice product very easy to use and have fun with

We’ve had this basketball hoop for a year, and it’s been great. My 6- and 4-year-old play with it constantly, and their friends love it too. It’s the perfect size and sturdiness for bigger kids to enjoy indoors.

Let me start by saying we are a basketball family. My husband played college basketball, we have NBA games on in the background all the time and both of my sons love to play with their dad. We have two outdoor goals, one small door goal and two indoor goals (this being one of our indoor goals). This has been our favorite indoor goal we’ve ever bought (we’ve bought a few little tikes ones and a breakaway one that the rim stopped staying up). It’s sturdy, nice looking aesthetically and easy to maneuver when they want to move it room to room. I don’t understand the comments from those that don’t like the base of the goal.. that is there to act as a rebounder when you make the shot, it hits that spot and bounces perfectly into your hands as if someone passed it back to you for your next shot. The ball that came with it was fantastic and when requested they sent us 2 additional balls for free!!! Can’t recommend this enough, definitely worth the price. Would buy it again 10 times over
