Boyfriend loves his Batarang
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. He used it to open any boxes that arrive. It is sharp, heavy duty, and good quality. He was upset I did not know it was called a Batarang, but other than that he uses it all the time. I couldn't figure out the locking mechanism at first but once I found it it was easy to close. Great gift

I love this thing
I'm a little puzzled by the "junk" and such comments. It's not a Gerber - the thing is thirteen bucks with free shipping for god's sake! What do you expect? The clip isn't comfortable on a belt, true - I sometimes carry it clipped to the belt clip itself of my IWB holster for my carry piece, gun and blade in one area. That causes it to carry horizontally parallel to my belt and I never even know it's there. Of course, this is primarily a novelty. But it works as well as a knife as any other cheap knife. That is, it will take a decent edge, but I wouldn't expect it to hold one long if put to much use, and I wouldn't count on the blade not breaking if abused. Like I said, it's not a Gerber, of which I have several and am a huge fan, or any other high end knife. It's a thirteen dollar novelty but one that can certainly be carried and used as a knife. As a weapon - well, meh. As I said, I carry it clipped to my holster that holds my carry gun (I live in Georgia and have a carry license.) I'm not going to be the dude who brought a knife to a gun fight if I feel I need to fight. But it would be way better than nothing should I suffer some very rare malfunction of my carry gun that I couldn't clear quickly and easily. Heck, you wouldn't even have to OPEN it. Holding it in a closed fist and striking would be much like the benefit from a roll of quarters similarly used, a well known street trick. If I had to consider this as a weapon the big issue I have is that I haven't found a way to open/deploy it that isn't at least somewhat awkward and clumsy. Takes a second longer than it should, and a second is WAY too long. But again - that's not really the purpose. You want a real combat knife? Go buy one, and pay accordingly for a quality one. This is just a very cool novelty, especially for those of us who are big Batman fans, that can also easily be used as a basic knife just like any other knife.

Very impressed
Itโs a perfect size, not too large but not too small. This knife shouldnโt be used for self defense just because itโs a little awkward to jab with but it looks awesome. Good quality. Its also pretty sharp. would recommend for show but not for self defense

IT'S BATMAN
It broke right away but I wasn't expecting much from this product. It's a good looking knife, it's not really sharp but again it was less than 15$

Is nice, hefty for the money, needed modification though before being giftable.
Let's be real for a moment - this is and will only ever be a novelty knife. This is not a survival knife, isn't a whittler, it's sole existence is to serve as a piece to spend 99.995% of it's life on a display shelf next to some Batman comics bagged and boarded. It serves no useful purpose and should never be mistaken for an object that does. It should still function though. That being said, it is a pretty cool knife that will no doubt entertain a lot of Batman fans. The main problem is that I ordered this as a gift for someone and had to take it apart and grind some areas away on one of the blades before I felt comfortable giving this item as a gift. One of the blades would not open enough to engage the liner lock and I was afraid the person I was buying this for could cut themself since the locking mechanism was faulty. The slide lock didn't have enough clearance to clear and as a result you would need to forcefully open the knife blade past acceptable tolerances to engage the liner lock. Needed to disassemble the knife and shave off a small portion of the blade piece for one of the blades to function properly. There's really no excuse for a factory made knife to have this kind of flaw. I do like the design of the knife, think my friend will like the gift, but there's no reason to sell something that needs to be fixed before gifted.
