This brush works great on my Maine Coons and they love it. Though we didn't try to remove mats with it because the mats were too tight and close to her skin. But it's great for regular brushing.

We have a husky that sheds a ton of undercoat all the time. Just a few uses of this brush and it really pulled out the loose hair. My backyard looks like it is covered in snow with all the tufts of hair blowing around. My husky doesn't like the way it pulls her hair so I'd recommend using a detangler/loosening spray to make it easier to comb through.

This product has helped enormously with the matting of my dog and cat’s coats. My cat is a Maine Coon and really gets awful matting on his chest and stomach. This comb has done a great job on both of them, but my advice would be to use it gently so as not to irritate your pets’ skin.

My elderly Siamese cat does not groom himself as much as he used to and had begun to develop mattes. This thing does the trick! It takes patience and multiple sessions, depending on the animal’s tolerance level. My cat’s coat looks so much better than it did though, so I am pleased.

My cat had gained quite a bit of weight and wasn’t able to groom his back side, resulting in several large mats. I used this product, in conjunction with coconut oil as seen on Youtube, and was able to rid him of all the mats easily and without pain for my cat. I thought I was going to have to shave him but thought I would give this a try before doing so. So glad I did!

My Goldens grow coats like a sheep! This is the first brush that really helped me de-shed them and get out the dead hair thatch. They look and feel great- hair so silky and not scratching at all. I filled a tall kitchen garbage bag with hair! Their old brushes either did too much (furminat0r) or too little (old slicker brush). This plus a new tipped prong slicker is all I need to keep them looking sharp

It's OK

This thing is awesome! So glad I bought it.We have a disabled, elderly cat with a severely fused spine who cannot groom herself except for her chest and extremities. She is also extremely ornery and sensitive about her back and belly being touched. Fighting being combed or furminated. As a result she was covered in mats. I thought I was going to have to get her shaved, but decided to give this tool a try. Wow! Cuts through them like butter. And quick and firm pressured enough we were able to get through 80% of her mats in one relatively quick session. I wish I bought this much sooner.

Can’t believe how much under coat this tool removed from my cat. It even made it easier to remove those troublesome knots. Would highly recommend this tool even for short haired pets.
