Effective and Easy to Install
This peel and stick door sweep was super easy to cut and apply. I have it tight to the floor so it touches the floor as it sweeps and so far, even with frigid temps outside, it has worked smoothly and I so far see no spot where the adhesive is failing. It was easy to size by cutting with regular scissors.

Easy to Install & Effective!!
My husband and I live in an old apartment in the city. Unfortunately, there was a huge gap under our front door. The gap was large enough that I could slide my flat hand under the door (see before picture). Our front door leads into a hallway but even so, cold air was coming in from the gap because the hallway is not heated and the outside door is located in the hallway. We also have had issues with insects coming under the gap and into our apartment. After reading many reviews, we ordered this "Huge Door Gap Draftstopper" to solve the door gap issues. We are very pleased with this product! (See after picture.) It was very easy to install... only took about 3 minutes! It created a finished look for the door in addition to being effective. First, I cleaned the bottom of the door where the adhesive would touch, my husband measured the length and cut off the excess material from the draftstopper. He used regular household scissors and was able to cut it easily. He removed the red tape from the adhesive part and placed the draftstopper on the door. The gap was approximately an inch large and the draftstopper covered the entire gap with ease. Also, he said the adhesive was very sticky. It came with a bunch of heavy duty tacks which he hammered into the door. Some reviewers said they didn't use the tacks because the adhesive was so strong but since they were included, we used them with our installation. The draft that was coming under the door ceased immediately! The draftstopper created a very tight seal. I am also confident that this will prevent the insects from getting in our apartment. We are happy with our purchase and would recommend this to others with door gap issues!

Keeps my cat in the yard
I have a 6 foot high vinyl fence around the back yard so I can take my 3 cats outside. I always stay out with them and one day my one skinny cat wriggled under the gap where the gate is (an activity my other 2 chunky cats would never consider). I tried a few things to block the opening - none of which i was happy with. So I ordered this large sweep. Cut it to size and stuck it on the bottom of gate. Solved the problem and its been on there for 3 years now with no sign of getting loose. Very happy with this ( my skinny cat has forgiven me). I just hose it off now and then. I can recommend for outside usage. I also put a shorter version on a different gate.

Fantastic, strong adhesion.
I installed mine about 6 months ago on a wooden door, and it's still holding strong. Easy to install and looks great too. It's pretty thick, it blocks bugs and drafts, but it also helps block noise and light too. I used two of these, one on each side of the door, plus a foam strip in between, for stronger effect. Works great. Update: It's been over 3 years now since I installed the first pair of these on a door and that pair is still holding strong. Bought many more pairs for many doors since and none of those have fallen off either. Solid product.

Mine Came Arch-Shaped ~ A Struggle to Apply
I had purchased 2 of these for the my front exterior door as a quick fix for the 2” gap on the bottom. They arrived folded up and tightly wrapped so there are crease marks approx. every 10” which were bothersome, but not the real issue. The problem was both strips (white and black) were arched like a rainbow. Consequently, not only was it a struggle keeping them straight in order to measure and cut, but was also a struggle to apply to my door. The arch added an extra and completely unnecessary dimension of difficulty since I was already trying my best to keep the bottom of the strip a uniform literal hair above the entry rug to prevent dragging while trying to keep the overall bottom parallel with the floor. While doing this, I had to sync keeping the arched top straight and parallel as well. Luckily, they are very soft and flexible. In the end, being me, I achieved both functional and aesthetic success. I used alcohol wipes to clean the door and the hairdryer trick so they are adhering well so far. They also seem to be working to seal and keep the whistling wind out. Added note: I purchased the same style strips, different seller, for my other doors, and they laid perfectly straight once unfolded : < … so hopefully mine were just duds.

Very useful
Bought this because my college house had almost a 2 inch gap from the door to the floor. Additionally the floor was wood so any noise around the house would just echo. It was very easy to cut to size and install. I put one on both sides of the door and not only was my room warmer but I wasn't woken up anymore when my roommates were making food or watching tv in the mornings. Only complaint is that removing it will pull the paint off the door, so I just cut it smaller and left it.

Wonderful fix
I was desperate for a deep fix for an weird older warped patio door. We put up a dog door panel and this created a 6' x 1"+ problem gap. In South Dakota any door gap is a serious winter issue. I didn't think the seal would work well but am so thankful it has. For us it has held well for two weeks so far. I am ordering more just in case I need it. What a great product. Update: the door seal is still holding fast after three months.
