Orbit SunMate Hose-End 58049N Plastic Soaker Irrigator

I have used this item twice. It seems pretty durable and I love how much you can control the flow of water. It didn't really state that you could stop the flow but you can turn it so low that it is just a drop. I like that so I don't have to waste water when I am going back and forth across my yard. Very happy with my purchase, great price.

I purchased this soaker from Amazon because 1)plastic doesn't corrode and 2)I could not locate one locally. I had a metal one previously, and after a year or so the metal became rusty. The plastic is solid, not flimsy. The neck is solid thick plastic and won't break off. Yes, if somebody stomped on the grilled side I am sure it would break. This item also has a flow adjustment on the opposite end of the hose connection that allows you to control the water flow rate from light, medium and heavy. I would purchase this item again.

My house has extremely high water pressure, so this bubbler saves me from blowing away my plants, mulch, and soil. In fact, this functions perfectly, with water tumbling out without flow energy. It doesn't look very cool on the end of my beautiful new water wand, but at least I don't have to worry about it corroding to the end. I've been using it for about 2 months now and I'm very happy with it.

I got two of these for my garden. They are working out very well. Not much to tell about a plastic water bubblier, but I am using them right now. Unlike the more expensive metal one's which I have, these can be adjusted to water light, medium, or heavy. How cool is that? If I decide I need anymore, I will definitely buy some more of this type.

This was just what I was looking for and it is working great. I wanted a lot of water really quickly without blasting my plants or putting holes in my garden, and this does just that. I also bought a metal version of a different brand. They are both good, but I like the adjustable feature of this one and use the feature more than I thought I would. We'll see how it lasts, but the price was right and operation is exactly what I wanted.

A person could do just as good with a shut off valve which is cheaper and attach a hose nozzle to that. Adjust the amount of water you want with the shut off valve. The Soaker Irrigator is not what I expected. I was hoping for a mist spray instead of just a flow of water. The Soaker is adjustable to the amount of water you want to come from the Soaker and that's it. Save your money and buy shutoff valve and hose nozzle.

I love using this to water my plants. It allows quite a bit of water to flow without disturbing the soil or making holes in the ground like using just the hose. It’s better than using a sprayer to water plants because all the water is absorbed through the roots anyway, so this method doesn’t waste water or discolor flower petals. Highly recommend for any gardener!

These are better than the old versions that are now impossible to find. The new metal ones are fragile junk. The flow is adjustable on these, with the twist of the dial on the end. Good heavy thickness of the plastic material they are constructed from...these should last for years.
