Bass pedal kick slides, how can I stop the kick?

There are 2 screws on the flat plate on the bottom of the pedal that can be cranked down to expose the sharp points to the carpet surface below. Use a good carpet under you kick drum is always a good idea I have 2 of these pedals in the double kick version. Sold my DW 5000 and use these now. With some fine adjustments you can make these work perfect. Good Luck !!
