Working Great on Jetson Bolt Pro - BUT!
I am pretty pleased with the results - I have a Jetson Bolt Pro second generation, and it is the kind you can't use the "speed hack" on using an Arduino, which I found out the expensive way (I should have researched more!) so I ordered the S866 and a new battery. It was recommended by a pretty reliable source on YouTube, good price, hoped for the best. Once I got it installed and then tuned in, very impressed. It has a lot of options, can go with 36v or 48v, a number of wheel configurations, number of magnets, pedal assist settings, start up timings, displays mph and kph, and has a cruise control setting as well. The way the cruise works took me a bit to get used to, hold a speed and wait for the indicator to go on, and it is set - sounds simple enough. In function it can be tricky to hit a steady speed over varying terrain. If you are doing 7.6 and go on a slight incline to 7.3 for a few seconds then back down and hit 8.1, but it is not a huge deal. All of that is after I got it installed and here is what that big BUT is about. Getting it installed. I was aware I would need connectors ahead of time, obviously not all bikes are configured the same. If you don't have them yet I would recommend a good wire stripper and *curved* needle nose pliers. Also, after I got everything wired in, I used a hot glue gun to seal the ends of the connectors right where the wire is pushed into the connectors. I am hoping this will stop corrosion and help keep everything together. The Installation. Plan ahead. If you can get wiring diagrams do. Label things before ripping wires out. I was told this, and of course didn't. I will never do that again until the next time I do. There is minimal installation information included with this controller. Minimal. It tells you the wires, and what they are supposed to do. And what they say is one thing maybe called something else on your bike. And if you have something like an aftermarket throttle, make sure you have the wiring info for that too. I follow instructional videos from people who ooozzed confidence in installing the controller just to find out that they skipped huge parts for time sake. I couldn't find a Jetson Bolt wiring diagram to same my life (a very common complaint I have now found out), and the common issue of referencing a wire by color and there being six wires that same color never helps. Installation took way longer that it should have. More instructions would have made a difference, but at that price point I don't think they're going to do that anytime soon. There is also the programming or tuning of the device. It is basically pushing and holding buttons going up and down changing values, easy and all in the controler. It is probably a good idea beforehand to look up your bike and the controller and see what other people have already set them to. After that it's a bit of trial and error, but I don't really complicated. One thing in noticed right away was my motor was louder. I have been told that is because it is not a syn type of controller. They said simply put it in "* * * z/=1y...blah blah blah" completely overy head, but in the end, they said "yeah, it's gonna be louder". Good enough for me. Am I happy with it? Absolutely! It has helped, along with the battery upgrade to add 3-5 mph (5 to 8 kph) on average and my top speed from 21 mph to 26.3 mph (33.7 kph to 42.3 mph) which is not huge until you consider first: It's a Jetson Bolt Pro so anything out of the teens in mph is almost terrifying (+20kpm=ahhhh!) and second: we rescued this Jetson from a dumpster post domestic disturbance in 13 pieces when the girlfriend decided to return the boyfriends stuff by breaking it down and distributing it liberally across varying parts of the property. (Checked in with her about it, and she gave a thumbs up on our rescue, assured he would not be returning to the apartment or the state for the foreseeable future) Long to Short= good product, may need some extras, plan ahead, I'm happy with the results!

Works as advertised.
Need to watch YouTube for some pointers but it works. Color coded wires are not an exact match to the e-bike. Take pictures before disassembling.

It is possible to make this work on the Jetson Bolt Pro
You’ll have to take your time and make a number of connectors to adapt the controller to your stock Jetson brake cutoffs, throttle, and motor hall wires, but this controller does work when properly connected up to a Jetson Bolt Pro. Good luck!

I have purchased and installed 3 of these controllers. They work great but it did take a bit to effort to sort the wiring out to get everything working correctly. Not all e-bikes use the same color coding on the brakes, PAS sensor etc. It is best to have access to a multimeter to help sort out the wiring. The controller is branded as a Brainsport.

Easy to install but had to replace a few connectors to Throttle, etc. Small size and wiring diagram made this an easy install, big upgrade my bike rides great 👍.
