These NutriStars are yellow, and these have a bit more of a Flintstone vitamin flavor to them. The Kids One Stars are green and taste a little earthier too, a bit more like the adult Rainbow Light vitamins. I purchased these because we ran out of the Kids One Stars and they were out of stock on Amazon at the time, so I thought this would be an unnoticeable switch. However my 2-year-old is in a very picky phase, and wouldn’t eat the “new star”. So, I’m currently awaiting another bottle of Kids One Stars.Just to be clear, there is NOTHING wrong with this vitamin. And if youre a parent currently feeding your child Flintstones or the like and are looking for a healthier, food-based alternative, I think this would be perfect for you. She eats a varied diet, but I wanted to start her on a vitamin as a backup for any gaps. I like that I can provide 1 tablet for an under 4 serving.She has been taking one of these each day for about a week with breakfast. We've received no complaints from her about taste. She has no trouble chewing the vitamin. She asked for a second one for the first few days until she caught on to the one per day message we gave her.I had no issues with discoloration or odd smell from the product. To me, they smell like vitamins. I tried one myself, they tasted similar to the chewable vitamins I took as a child with less sweetener.
