Thirst No. 1: The Last Vampire, Black Blood, Red Dice Kindle Edition

I remember reading the series when it was called "The Last Vampire" back in high school. It was an awesome series back then and re-reading it now, its still a good series. Just know that this series was originally 6 individual books. This book, Thirst No. 1 contains the first three books of the original 6. Thirst No. 2 has the last 3 of the series. Thirst No. 3, 4 &5 are new stories to the series. I forgot how much I really enjoyed Christopher Pike's writing style. Great YA read and a great series on vampires.

i read this series at least once every six months. Sita is a 5000 year old bad ass vampire that has seen many things. this book is so amazing that it has made me look into the hindu religion (which the book heavily relies on) and has made me have a different perspective in life. the plot is great, empowering and never gets boring. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, i am begging you to READ THIS SERIES! i promise you won't regret it.

Glad I finally thought to check on Amazon. I lost the first one in the series when I let it get borrowed and never returned. So can't wait until I can read the whole series again. I definitely recommend this especially if u love anything fiction and supernatural!

This book is well written with a lot of nice foreshadowing. The author obviously didn't rush through the book. I find the length suited perfectly. It tied up loose ends with not a lot of dead space. The main character was a strong female that needed no man to protect her. Instead she protected the male sub characters. I like that about this book, you always read about damsels in distress but not Sita. Definitely recommend this book!

I love these stories. I have read them about 10 times since they were first published. I have the original books. Great YA vampire read. And i still enjoy them now, 20 years on. Christopher Pike was another author that i got hooked on way back when, and still enjoy reading his books.And i would also give this series 10 or 100 stars if i could.

This is a good book series that has been nicely packaged into a manageable group. I read these books for the first time over ten years ago and I loved them then, so I was curious to see if they would still be interesting to me as an adult. I found that I did still enjoy them, and I would recommend them to any fan of vampire fiction. They are well written and interesting, with an original plot line. I wouldn't recommend them for very young adults because they are pretty gory, but a mature young adult should be fine. Hope this helps someone in their decision on this series.

This was my favorite book as a teen and I've always looked. Twilight has nothing on this series. These books deserve a movie.

The language in this book is super stilted, like Mr. Pike is trying to portray his vampiress as speaking with a Transylvanian accent. He does not pull that off. Plus, there's no dialect, no personality.

This is by far my favorite book series of all time. It even inspired me to write a book as intense and action packed as this. Check out "Ariel the Vampire" by Azuka Oyem if you want a gritty no-nonsense book like this.

Good book

I don't often leave reviews but these books are brilliant. I first read these as a teenager and have recently rediscovered them ok on the kindle.they are very buffyesque if she was a vampire. I love that she is a strong female character who doesn't need anyone to take care of her. this series will be a hit with anyone who loves a strong female lead.the only let down to this series is that some of the books are not available on the kindle so I had to order them from Amazon which is a bit annoying.I would highly recommend this series it's a huge hit.

Christopher Pike is great. His books are everything a teenager (and 36 year old) could want: action, kick-ass heroines, bloodshed, sexual tension, surprises. They should re-release all of his books.

Needed this book to finish the set. It was as described & a good read
