This is a classy 10-gallon trash can. We use 13-gallon bags. I bought one for my room months ago, and my roommate suggested getting another for the kitchen, so now we have two. It's got a handy little foot pedal that'll flip the top up and it has a slow close feature so it doesn't slam down making a bunch of noise. I like the design of the trash can; it has a sturdy plastic inner container that you can easily pull out to change the bag. The metal outer part is great, and I think it’s the perfect size for a kitchen accommodating two people. For larger households, I would recommend a family-sized can, but it's more than enough for two people. The price is reasonable and fair. It is stainless steel but as far as the stainless steel trash can goes it has a very fair price. I've seen others that are kind of up there in price.

This rectangular 8 gallon trash can is PERFECT for the narrow space in my small kitchen! I downsized from a 13 gallon can because I never filled the tall kitchen trash bags & hated wasting all the extra plastic I wasn’t using. My old 13 gal SimpleHuman can lasted over 15 years and survived many, many long distance moves (I’ll find another use for it) It was a super slim design, and finding a smaller alternative proved challenging. I really liked the looks of this model and it’s narrow enough to tuck into the space left by my SimpleHuman can. The slow closure is a great feature, and 8 gallon bags fit snugly without having to use the convenient built-in band. I’m giving it 4 stars because the lid quality is a bit THIN & I’m not sure it’ll last like my SimpleHuman can did. It buckles slightly when I put pressure on it, which will be a problem in the future as I had occasionally used my old trash can lid to rest grocery bags (or huge 30 lb bags of cat food) on. I’m planning to reinforce it somehow, or else find another convenient resting place for groceries, tho’ I’ve pretty much used every available surface in my small kitchen. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but it would’ve been nice to have a sturdy lid to begin with! All in all, this is a great deal on a very good looking & smoothly operational trash can — especially if you’re not looking to rest anything on top of it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These are a nice, small profile trash can. I live in an apartment with an open floor plan and don't want some nasty looking trash can in my kitchen that can be seen from the living room and dining room. I got a second one for the bathroom as it also has my washer dryer hook ups, and I don't have to wander to the kitchen with a handful of dryer lint to dispose of that. Also, as our dumpsters here are a half-block away from me, I can use the bathroom trash can when the kitchen one gets full and I don't want to walk down there if the weather is bad.

Paper probably fits perfectly. We use it for recycling. Good quality. Closes softly. Fits perfectly in our small space and front pedal works for us.

Perfect slim size for a condo/apartment or a small area. The lid works with its silent closure or all the way up to put in more waste. And no smudges as promised!

This product was double boxed to prevent bumps and damages to the stainless steel. Very much appriciated. Cartons were very thick and strong. Strong enough, I recycled them into 4 "drawers" in storage shelving. Perfect size too. Bonus
