Maxxima MLN-16 LED Plug-in Night Light โ A Reliable & Efficient Night Light โญโญโญโญโญ (5/5)
I recently purchased the Maxxima MLN-16 LED Plug-in Night Light, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for an affordable, energy-efficient, and long-lasting night light, this is a fantastic choice! Brightness & Performance One of the best things about this night light is its perfect balance of brightness. It emits a soft yet effective glow that illuminates dark hallways, bathrooms, or bedrooms without being too harsh. The 5000K daylight color temperature is crisp and clean, making it ideal for those who prefer a brighter, natural-looking light rather than a dim, yellowish glow. Automatic Sensor โ Truly Hands-Free I love that it comes with a dusk-to-dawn sensor, which means it automatically turns on when it gets dark and off when thereโs enough ambient light. This feature is incredibly convenient as I donโt have to worry about switching it on and off manually. It works flawlessly, making it a great "set it and forget it" type of device. Energy Efficiency & Longevity Being an LED night light, it consumes very little electricity (only 0.5 watts), making it a cost-effective choice compared to older incandescent night lights. I can leave it plugged in all night without worrying about energy waste or increased electricity bills. Plus, LEDs have an incredibly long lifespan, so I expect this night light to last for years without needing a replacement. Design & Build Quality The compact, sleek, and modern design is a big plus. It fits snugly into any standard wall outlet without blocking the second plug, which is a major advantage. The plastic casing feels sturdy and durable, and it doesnโt get hot even after being on for hours, making it a safe choice for kidsโ rooms and nurseries. Versatile Use I initially bought one for my hallway, but after seeing how well it worked, I purchased several more for other areas like the bathroom, kitchen, and even near staircases. Itโs perfect for providing just the right amount of light in any dark space without disturbing sleep. Final Verdict Overall, the Maxxima MLN-16 LED Plug-in Night Light is an excellent investment. Itโs affordable, energy-efficient, well-built, and provides great illumination with automatic functionality. If you need a dependable night light that you can just plug in and forget about, this is the one to get. โ Pros: โ๏ธ Soft yet bright daylight illumination โ๏ธ Dusk-to-dawn automatic sensor โ๏ธ Extremely energy-efficient (0.5W) โ๏ธ Long-lasting LED technology โ๏ธ Compact design that doesnโt block outlets โ๏ธ Safe, cool-to-the-touch operation โ Cons: โณ Some users might prefer a dimmer, warmer glow (but this is great for visibility) Would I buy it again? Absolutely! Highly recommended for anyone in need of a high-quality night light.

Great Night Lights
Arrived on time. Being my eyesight isn't strong anymore this helps me get around at night without turning the overhead light on. It saves me money on my electric bill. So many friends think we go to bed early LOL but we like our home lit with these lights. Thank you for such a helpful product.

Great for use in barn and home
Used around the house and in my barn. Gets pretty dark here and these lights allow us to move around in the barn and house easily. Very bright allowing us to see light switches and tripping hazards

Bright, Reliable, but on the Cool Side
Bright, Reliable, but on the Cool Side Iโve been using this 4-pack of Maxxima LED plug-in night lights for a couple of weeks now, and they do exactly what they promise: provide a consistent, reliable glow in dark areas without me needing to touch a switch. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is responsiveโlights come on promptly when the room darkens and shut off automatically in daylight. That feature is especially handy in hallways and bathrooms, where you donโt want to fumble for a switch at night. The light itself is very crisp and bright for a night light. At 5000K, itโs a daylight/cool white tone, which is great if you want maximum visibility. For example, in my hallway it makes navigating at night very safe. That said, the cool color temperature is not as cozy as a warm amber glow, so in a bedroom it can feel a little stark. For me, these work best in functional spaces like bathrooms, kitchens, or entryways rather than places where I want a relaxing atmosphere. Build quality seems goodโplug feels solid in the outlet and the lights sit flush against the wall. The compact, low-profile design means they donโt block the second outlet, which is a small but important detail. Bottom line: These are bright, dependable night lights with a crisp daylight glow. Excellent for safety and visibility, but if you prefer a softer, warmer night light for sleeping areas, you may want to look for a different color temperature.

Brighter than many and more useful than expected some places
I've had several sets of LED lights over the years and they always showed me where the hallway walls were, where the bathroom door is, how to find the floor in the bedroom, etc. These are much brighter. They show an object of any size on the hall floor, provide enough illumination I don't use the bathroom light at night, and are useful for finding my way through the maze to the kitchen. The one in the kitchen is enough to find the cabinet and get a glass or water. If you covered up the sensor and left it on at full intensity 24/7 for a year, it would use something less than 3 KWH of electricity, which would be around 30 cents where i live. I have some friends who are off in the mountains on solar and these aren't for them, but they'll work for most of the rest of us. Yes, they're a cold white (bluish) light. "Harsh" is a judgment call. We're more interested in the convenience and safety of the lights than on their color temperature when we're asleep or fumbling around in the dark. They use half (but that's all) of a duplex receptacle, and you're limited to the location of that receptacle unless you do some adapting. One receptacle in our bedroom is too close to my wife's side of the bed, so I covered the side of the "lens" toward her head with almost-opaque masking tape. The light still goes to the middle and foot of the bed, so she can see to navigate. I keep one in my suitcase to use when I'm in a hotel whose illumination in the bathroom is poor in the middle of the night and I don't want to wake my wife.. I'm on here to order another set.

Bright and cheap
(see updates) I wish I had had lights like this when I was growing up. They put out enough light that you can actually see where you are going at night. They have a light sensor so they go off when they are in light, either ambient or from a bulb. I keep a couple in bathrooms and when the doors are closed with the interior lights off, these lights stay on, they do not have motion detectors. But being LEDs, they draw so little current it doesn't matter. I am totally pleased. I bought a four-pack and all four worked right out of the box. Could not be more pleased. Update: I wanted to buy another 4-pack. Now these lights are only available in a 6 pack, but at the same unit price. So, still a good deal, but I don't need six. So, I will give some away as gifts. Another update: Delivery was promised Monday but arrived on Sunday. Thank you Amazon Prime. I tested all six and all six worked. When I ordered them I didn't think I would need six, but it took no time at all to find places for them. They consume so little electricity that they are virtually free to operate. So hallways and bathrooms are now all lit with enough light to see but not so much to be obtrusive.
