14" Rustic Hammered Black Barn Door Handle Pull for Interior and Exterior Barn Door Hardware

Just installed these last week on our new fence gate and I LOVE them. I DID NOT use the screws they came with as they are one way screws, as in, you can never take them off... what if I want to remove the handle to replace it or refinish it if it rusts at all?? I replaced with normal outdoor screws. The black coating seems durable, but since these are going outside, I did spray the handles with a few coats of matte finish clear rustoleum, as suggested, prior to installing, which did not change the look or sheen of the pull at all. No rust yet, but have only been up two days, time will tell. These handles have good weight to them. The low price on these is amazing for how large and solid they are. I looked forever and similar style handles sell for hundreds of dollars each. I like the mix of clean lines and rustic old world charm that works well for our historic craftsman house. I ordered one of each of the 14” full backplate and the 12” split backplate versions to see which I liked better (I attached photos of both). The 14” looked more balanced with the huge Ozco hinges on the outside of our gate and I decided to use the 12” on the inside. The actual handle length is exactly the same on both versions but the screws holes are not in the same location, so that solved the potential problem of the inner and outer screws running into each other. These gate pulls do not include a latch, but we added a simple gate latch above it on the inside of the gate with a ring you can reach over to pull from the outside, so the latch is not obvious from the outside.

Seems sturdy and finish looks good. Package contains two sets of 5 screws so very thoughtful to give options and an extra of each type. One package has the non reversible screws for extra security. All crews in matching color of the handle.

I used these on some barn doors I had, nothing cheap about them. Heavy duty metal, and heavy duty screws with it to which is nice

These door handles are just right for our barn doors. They are sturdy and can handle the weight of our large sliding doors. It really finishes the look for our beautiful barn.

What we dislike about the handle, it didn't come with the back part for the other side of the door. It should come with a full set. Very disappointed.

This is a gorgeous handle for the price. I wanted the hammered look that looked a bit aged but I could not bring myself to spend $80+ on other sites. The screws are a bit short that come with this handle but otherwise gorgeous and worth every penny.
