Do replacement pads have to be brand specific, or are there generic alternatives?

I looked into replacing my for something similar I could not find anything like them

You can buy off-branded TENS pads from lots of sellers here on Amazon, but if you want the PowerDot branded ones you have to buy them directly from their website, I am in the UK and shipping was £10, so it cost £27 just for pads alone!!

How many of these can i have connected to the app at the same time can i have say a set of 4
