For my son’s 2004 F150 4.6L. It would idle for a minute and die. If driving I would have to feather the gas to keep it running requiring my left leg for braking. Changed the fuel filter which helped but didn’t completely fix. Research pointed us to this little guy. My son installed it and the truck has run perfectly since. Easy install.

Two mounting options. The OEM version was an aluminum body with a plastic housing which was fine, but it was bolted directly to a steel cross-member above the spare tire, which not only exposes it to salt and water from the tires, but galvanic action on the aluminum as a result ruined the old unit. The new one gives two mounting options, both of which eliminate the metal-to-metal mounting and should eliminate future problems. The price was just under $50, and without the difficulties moving the spare tire, could have been installed in 10 minutes. Dealer price: $480 installed.

This unit fit perfectly. My vehicle has worked wonderfully since I replaced this part. I was very impressed by the ease of replacement.
