So far it works really well. It looks nice in my kitchen. Trash doesnt stink up my place. Quality foot petal. The bags stays in place, (i use the costco brand tall kitchen bags) they fit very well. The back of the trash can doesnt stick out like some others i looked at, so it sits flush with the counter,im not constantly tripping over it like my last trash can. Cleans up well.

Trash can arrived nicely packed. No scratches like some have complained about. Very sturdy. Foot pedal is bigger than my last trash can, which is great! Lid comes down slowly and doesn’t bang shut. Well worth the money.

Good size for a bathroom trashcan. The lid is absolutely necessary to keep my dog out of the trashcan. The stainless steel looks nice and it had great packaging.

I’m really liking this garbage can. I prefer the step open type over the automated, because I don’t like a can that opens every time I walk past it, and this can is just what I was hoping for. The soft close lid is perfect. The can, itself, has a very simple and sleek look to it, which is necessary when you have to leave your garbage can out and visible. It’s very sturdy and will not tip over easily if my dog jumps up to get a sniff of what’s inside. This was also a good value compared to many other garbage cans that were priced much higher.

I am pleased with this garbage can. I have gone through several with the motion sensor lids, and while they are convenient, they always seem to break easily over time. I don't worry about that with this one. The slim design is nice as I have it against the side of my kitchen cabinets. It isn't in the way. The lid goes up and down easily. I can also easily open it with my hands if necessary as well. It seems stable, and the finish looks really nice in my kitchen. The only downsides I have are that it gets dirty easily. I generally prefer more of a brushed nickle finish, and that is why. You will want to buy some stainless steel/granite cleaner if you don't already have some. Everything else makes it smudge.

Great quality trash can! So easy to use! Slim and great footstep. I have a family of three and this is a good size for that. Maybe will size up in the future but our place is small and this is a great size for it and can hold a lot of trash even though it is smaller

We bought this for our kitchen because we downsized. This is a nice, slender option that still packs a punch! It is out of the way and my dogs can’t lift the lid to get into the trash. It’s a perfect shape and design so that it’s out of the way and not noticeable. My other trash cans used to make a noise when I opened the lid with the foot pedal, and this one doesn’t!

So I've had this for 2 years. Worked well but dents easily. I guess that's what to expect at this price? We just had the soft close mechanism break and the plastic bottom part that holds the silver piston from dropping out broke off. There are several solutions to this shown in these reviews. I used several 1/4 x 4 inch strips of duct tape to hold the piston from dropping out but THAT DID NOT WORK. I then taped a strip of 1/2" x 3" piece of aluminum I cut from a can to cover the bottom hole using duct tape to hold it in place. This provides a good bottom for the piston to sit on. Since the tape will unstick, I wrapped some wire around the tape/aluminum. That did not work! Now using 2 hose clamps to hold the strip of metal I cut from a can. See pic. This is holding better than the wire. Will report back if this fails.

This is a very smart stainless steel bin. Soft close lid, and despite the bin being fairly lightweight, it is sturdy. It functions perfectly even after being in use for some time now. I would buy this one again, very pleased with the quality and the price.
