Bread Doesn't Always Fit!!!
I was originally very disappointed in this toaster, and came VERY close to returning it. The bread slots need to be longer AND deeper!! I end up cutting off the sides, and the top of the bread isn't toasted. After looking for a decently priced replacement - and not finding one - I have decided to keep this little toaster. Bread toasts fast, and evenly. The toaster itself is attractive, although mine arrived with ?fingerprints? on the metal sides - a quality control issue, that certainly hasn't affected the operation. And I was very pleasantly surprised at the attention given to packaging!!All in all, if not for the bread slot sizing, I would definitely give this little toaster 5 stars!

Finally! A toaster that lives up the name of Toaster. Begone, ye imposters.
I really only want one thing from my toaster...A built-in LCD screen so I can watch Netflix while toasting my bread!Ok, that was pretty silly. I just want my toaster to turn the raw bread golden brown from edge to edge. This one does exactly that. Look at the photo on the product page, your toast will look just like that. What's not to like? It thaws frozen bread and warms up cold toast but has no bagel setting so it toasts them on both sides. But it toasts so well, I don't care. I can live with it.I've only had it for 2 weeks so I can't speak to reliability.I bought it through Amazon for $30 but it's only available through 3rd party sellers for $60 now. At that price I think I'd look elsewhere. If the $30 dollar toaster returns, you should give it your serious consideration.

Nice and small for my condo kitchen.
I moved into a condo that had a toaster that was big and clunky and so I just tossed it out one day. I seldom needed one and if I did, I used a toaster oven. Yet, when company stay having a toaster is so much easier than a toaster oven. I shopped and picked out this one, mainly because of the reviews and especially the size. The first time used, it did emit a small odor but the guest was polite and said it didn't effect the taste whatsoever and after that it was fine. I am very pleased.

Good toaster but not for bagels
I thought wide slot meant we could use this for bagels or thicker bread slices, but it only accommodates standard bread. But it toasts well and we like having the cover for the slots when it is not in everyday use. Too recent a purchase to comment on how well it holds up to normal use.

Classy Toaster with a cover!
My very expensive name brand toaster ended its job without warning after many years of faithful service. Repairs estimate were ridiculous - so shopping I went. I found a brand never heard of before, decided to try it because it had good reviews. Well, I am delighted with my new toaster which came with a formed black lid to cover the slots, and a pull out crumb shelf which makes cleaning so easy. Looks really sharp with shiney chrome and black trim. It is simple to use as well!

Too cheap and flimsy
I was taken aback at how chintzy this thing was, especially for what it cost. You can buy a $7. toaster at WalMart for the same quality. Right slot toasted bread different shades on each side. Tried 3 times to give it a chance to toast the bread equally. Also the knob has a notch for adjusting darkness of the toast. It needs to have a dab of white paint on it or something. It is hard to see where you have it adjusted. Not keeping this piece of junk.

Just OK
This toaster is just OK, works like all other toasters IMO. I like my toast like they show in the photo as a #6, but, like all other toasters I have had in my life, this toaster pops up my toast when it looks like #2...so, I have to push it down again and wait for it to darken my toast. It gets a 3 star because it does eventually toast to my satisfaction, and it does have a nice small footprint.

Pretty basic
Makes toast pretty quickly, but slices can catch in the bottom if they aren't centered. Doesn't ding when it pops up, so you have to listen for the gentle mechanism. It's hard to see the number setting - it's just a slight indentation, and the dial is all black. Toasts fairly evenly. Toaster is very light - mine was missing 2 of of the rubber nubs on the bottom of the feet - so it slides on the counter.
