I named her Vera after my favorite greasy spoon diner waitress.
Update: still loving Vera. The Atomi app has been updated and I now have the ability to schedule when I want the coffeemaker to start brewing for multiple days. (Yay!). Figured out that every time the power goes out or we reset our internet the WiFi button on the coffeemaker has to be turned back on. Not a complaint, more a heads up for anyone else who wonders why their WiFi button seems to mysteriously turn off. I would say 9/10 rating. 🙂Okay, picture this: it’s Saturday at 630am. Husband is deployed. I’m standing in front of my coffeemaker holding an empty coffee cup as it brews while my two minions run circles around me. (I adore my children but they have yet to realize that mommy can’t mommy until she gets her first sip of coffee 😫) Weekend mornings don’t have a fixed wake up time so pre-setting a programmable coffeemaker often leaves me with burned/cold coffee or getting up before the coffee was set to brew. One day I wondered if anyone had developed a coffeemaker with WiFi/Bluetooth technology: something I could turn on from the bedroom as I’m waking up so that my coffee would be waiting for me even on those mornings when I didn’t know what time we would be waking up. That’s when I found this coffeemaker. And it does exactly what it says it will. Huzzah!!! Happy mommy! With All that being said, I would say this coffeemaker is a 7.5 out of ten stars. It’s hard to give an accurate rating when there are only five stars.I’ve lived with Vera (yes, I named my coffeemaker) for two weeks now and she’s great, but there’s lots of room for improvement.Pros:- Easy to set up- Brews a decent coffee and it is HOT- Does EXACTLY what the manufacturer says it will do- I can turn on the coffeemaker from anywhere and have fresh, hot coffee waiting for me when I walk into the kitchenCons:- Carafe is glass (I flinch every time I’m washing it and it bumps into the sink or anything nearby) - I would totally be willing to purchase a metal carafe to replace the glass one but the company does not offer one- My old coffeemaker would beep when it was done brewing and when it turned off the warmer. It would be great if future models could include this feature. I miss knowing when the brew cycle is finished.- Twice now I’ve accidentally bumped into the WiFi button and unknowingly turned off the feature. After waking up to no coffee one morning I’ve learned to make sure the WiFi button is on before going to bed.- I don’t know if it’s just me not being tech-savvy or if it’s the app not having this feature but it would be great to be able to pre-set when I want my coffee to start brewing for weekdays ahead of time. As it is now, I have to set the start time for the next morning every night before bed. It’s not a huge deal but it is something that would make my life easier. In short, it’s a good coffeemaker with some great features but it has room for improvement.

Don’t fall for the ease of the Wi-fi promise!
I enjoyed the coffee pot’s wireless feature for about a month. But perhaps an update changed things and when I set the schedule at night and checked on the coffee pot brewing from my bedroom in the morning, my device said “offline” even though it was connected to Wi-fi. Therefore, I had to manually press the button when I came downstairs. It isn’t the biggest deal, but I wanted the ease of setting a schedule to start the coffee while I was getting dressed and when I finished getting ready, my coffee would be ready. I expected your coffee maker to perform as promised in your ad description. Secondly, I have a crack on the coffee pot holder ring and I have only had this for two months! My husband and I make one pot a day so I wouldn’t say it’s from excessive coffee making on our end. And the bottom of the heating plate is wearing away, again after only two months of use, which is not very long for an expensive coffee maker! I am rather unhappy with this product and will probably be asking for a new coffee maker for Christmas!

Claims to talk to alexa. Lie.
Cannot talk to alexa. I’ve connected countless devices to alexa. This is the first flat out failure. Atomi app works great so if you are shopping for a pot you can control with an app, get it. Works great as a coffee pot. Only reason I bought a $100 coffee pot was so I could program it with my “good morning” command to alexa, so it’ll be going back.

If I could give it a zero I would.
Took a long time to arrive. Got it set up to brew for the morning, all the water leaked out from the bottom of the unit and all over my counter. The only time it didn't leak was when it was actually brewing. Ran it thru several tests and it happened every time. RETURNING IT.

Meh
I’ve had this for 35 days and there is a crack in the base where the warmer is. Also, there is no sensor to stop the brew if no pot is in place- sounds silly, but when you are brewing via Alexa or your phone, you aren’t in the same room and it’s not obvious that the pot isn’t under the coffee maker. I’ve had an entire pot of coffee on my floor. It’s a cool idea, but this is nothing more than a $20 coffee maker with a WiFi signal. It also disconnects from WiFi every few days.

Really wanted it to work well
I was very anxious to have a coffee pot that could integrate with Amazon Echo so that I could start brewing from the bedroom as I woke up. Our old Cuisinart had finally died and a I had been on a tear connecting lots of lights and outlets to voice control with Alexa.Out of the box it is well packaged and truly designed for shipping. Not a scratch on the device and while there was lots of packaging material, it was generally all cardboard and recyclable. Setting up to the WiFi was a bit challenging. It only works on 2.4Ghz WiFi and while my router supports that, it is one of the new routers that supports 5GHz bands on the same SSID and the coffee pot got confused by that. I had to disable the 5GHz bands and once done, the coffee pot registered to my phone and I could rentable the 5GHz bands on my router. (I have a Lynksys Velop Tri-Band).I then tried to get it connected to Alexa and ran into problems. I was going to call the toll free number but it was after 5:00 ET and they were closed. Made coffee the next morning and first cup out was decent. Not as good as the Cuisinart, but decent. However, by the time we started getting to the end of the pot, the coffee in the carafe was super hot and started to burn. This caused a bitter taste for the last half of the pot. As far as I can tell, there is no adjustment mechanism for the temperature of the warmer.I applaud Atomi for coming out with a connected coffee pot. I’m shocked at the lack of them on the market these days and hope other manufacturers follow suit. However if you like coffee and are particular about the taste, this just isn’t the right maker.

Works with Google Assistant and Google Home!
Finally found a product that I can just shout at my google home that I've woken up and the coffee starts brewing. Easy startup and connecting. Heats up quickly and a few different settings you can adjust. Would recommend

My favourite coffee maker
Easy to use. You can turn off the maker when your done or set a timer to shut off. If you don’t then it will stay on all day. To use Alexa you must have an Alexa hub or it work work. You can program it to turn on or push the app button to tie it on yourself whenever your ready. Very impressed. To use the wifi option make sure it at 2.4ghz and not 5ghz. and the light needs to stay on. No need for coffee filters as it has a unit in one.

Bloody Awful
This coffee maker is prone to leaking out of the bottom, and has little to no Google Assistant functionality besides turning it on. Mine arrived and broke itself from brewing 10 minutes in.The seller gave me a fake address to return the item to, and I'm out $260 now.

0 STARS but I can’t post without giving at least 1 star
Do not attempt. Item did NOT work. Even after calling and asking for help, the product was not functional. Any person spoken to about this ....really didn’t seem to care. I will say that a full refund did come quickly after the product was returned.
