Don’t know but the coffee tastes great.

Are these filters in the original AeroPress box?

If you mean are these the filters that come with the original AeroPress yes they are. They are the only filters I will buy to use with my AeroPress. Enjoy your coffee !

Can I return these if I've used some from the package? They are a poor fit and allowing coffee grounds to leak in to my cup!

You would need to contact Amazon and ask about their return policy on opened product. (BTW I rarely have any coffee grounds "leak" into my cup! Do you rinse the filter before you press? (Pour some hot water through it). Are you using a Aeropress made BY Aeropress? I have never had one be a poor fit!
