This works great but it's only the cleaner!!! When I wrote them about it not coming with the feeder though the description at the time had it in the title they apologized and sent a refund really nice company.

The product does a great job cleaning my water softener. It is 20 years old and using this regularly does a great job of maintaining the filter bed and increasing the life of the water softener.

The product works well. I've used it for almost a year and my water, moderate well hardness, and relatively high iron, is super-soft (measured at less than 1/2 grain), and no signs of iron. I was hesitant to order a liquid off the web. I tried it last week for a liquid product, and the packaging was excellent, with no leaks. With that, I tried another order tor the OUT Filter Mate Heavy Duty Water Softener Cleaner. That was a BIG mistake. The box arrived with about 20% damp. The product was packed in an unsealed plastic bag, surrounded with crushed paper. The bag didn't contain the leak (of course), and the paper was soaked about 20% with the product. This is not a good scene, considering that this product is heavy on phosphoric acid. Opening the product lid showed that the aluminum seal was broken. This should not happen with the lid closed tightly, but it did. With the seal broken, I question whether the product was watered down. I could have gotten this product from a Menard's that is about 25 miles from my home, but my supply was low, and didn't want to make the trip for one item. It turned out to be a mistake, since I have the aforementioned qualms about adulteration of the product.

Like the way it keeps my brine tank clean of the hard minerals my water has very happy
