THAI Natural Crystal Deodorant Mist Spray, 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I used chemical deodorant (Secret liquid gel in lavender) for my whole life until about 5 year ago when I tried switching to natural deodorant. Now I won’t lie, I do not always shower every single day. That deodorant worked fine for me for years, but I always smelled a bit stale/sweaty after some wear and HATED my white shirts all getting yellow armpits from the aluminum. So I made the switch to natural and got through the detox (you STINK for a while when you stop using aluminum deodorant and switch to anything natural at first - I used Nature’s Miracle enzyme solution to “strip” the armpits of my clothes from the original deodorant - this actually made a huge difference). Then I started out with Native, worked okay for a bit, but definitely gave a stale smell (not B.O., just stale / sweaty) and did not do anything for sweat, and I also couldn’t stand applying it because the stick was so hard and not rubbable (instructions said to hold under armpit for a bit to warm/soften, and it just never went on nicely at all). Eventually had to stop because it made me chafe and gave me the WORST rash and irritation (like a baking soda burn) out of the blue, and I couldn’t use it anymore. Switched to Lume, which was fine for a while, less of a stale smell but still there, but also didn’t like that Lume was like a cream, just on a deodorant shaped dispenser - opposite end of the spectrum from my dislike of Native’s application. That eventually made me chafe and irritated just as badly, but I kept living with it and changing scents from Lume each time they’d irritate me because I didn’t want to go back to chemical/aluminum deodorant. I got to the point where I was pretty miserable and hated everything, but refused to go back to any kind of chemical/aluminum deodorant. Note: I still religiously use Lume for my feet for any shoes I wear without socks, and their enzyme body wash (focusing on feet, underarms and groin, but using all over). It’s amazing for those two products/uses. Well, by some miracle I saw a tik tok of a girl with a Thai Crystal Salt Block saying she found it on the internet and all she had to do was get it wet, rub it on her underarms, and she had no scent. I ordered SO fast. I used the block for a few weeks and was FLOORED at how well it worked to make no smell at all. I repeat, no smell at ALL! No stale, sweaty smell that I had lived my whole life with. But the block got a bit gross over a couple of weeks and getting it wet made the bottom applicator part gross, and my skin started getting sensitive to the physical block/stone rubbing on my skin (it’s pretty course). So even though I had used literally no amount of the block, I went to buy a new block so that I could have a clean one and figured I’d just have to buy them often. Well then I saw that they made a spray and I JUMPED FOR JOY! Ordered and started using, and I kid you not my life has been forever changed. The spray is completely colorless, odorless, and goes on and feels like literal water. Because it’s so simple, I haven’t experienced any irritation at all other than chafing when I’ve done activities that I can’t some chafing occurring. I spray a few sprays on each underarm when I get out of the shower and then rub in on each underarm, and I am good to go. I then use morning and night until I shower again, and I won’t lie, I have gone 3-4 (maybe even 4-5) days without showering and just wiping my underarms with a wet wash cloth as needed and then using this morning and night and have been odor free. I’ve never experienced that in my life!! I bought the travel size as well because I use it whenever I travel and just refill the bottle, and strangely the sprayer nozzle on the travel size is better. The full size one isn’t bad, the travel one is just better and sprays so well! I will never use anything else and am so grateful I found this! It is so inexpensive, easy to use, gentle, better for the environment in terms of packaging, and most off all, EFFECTIVE! It’s 1000x more effective than when I used chemical deodorants with aluminum! One thing to add - it’s not an antiperspirant, so it’s not meant to do a huge amount for sweat control, but I feel like it does help a fair amount. I have always sweat quite a lot under my arms (even with chemical/aluminum antiperspirant deodorant made for sweat control) and noticed the difference when I switched to natural deodorants originally. But I will say that the sweat I do still experience with this doesn’t matter because it’s totally odorless!! Whereas even when I had less sweat because of aluminum, it smelled stale so it was way worse. Cannot say enough great things about this product!!!! Try it, try it, try it! I’m sure it won’t work for everyone, as nothing does, but if it does work for you it can change your life!!!!!

I have used a crystal stick deodorant for years, but application was annoying and I had dropped and broken it more than once. I found out a spray version existed, and I was cautiously optimistic. I have been very pleasantly surprised by this deodorant. Be aware, it is not an antiperspirant (and it is not advertised as such, either). You will still sweat, but when used correctly I have had zero odor. Spray on after showering and allow to dry. It doesn't seem to do much if you are already smelly when applying. I've used it for a couple weeks now and have not had any days where I have had issues with being smelly. I've gone to the gym, worked in a warehouse in 90-100 degree (Fahrenheit) heat and noticed it performs well no matter the conditions. I've tried other natural deodorants and not had great luck, but I would definitely say this one is worth a try. If you have been using something vastly different, I would give it at least 2-3 weeks before passing judgment as it takes bodies a bit to adjust. I was fortunate because what I Was using was so similar I had no real transition period.

Seems to work great . Odorless. Zero fragrance. Would like to have a fragrance version. Will buy again .

I love this stuff!! To get completely odor free results ALL day, I found I needed 2–3 layers. I’d spray my pits several times, let it dry with a handheld fan, and repeat. It is a bit of a process, but it *guarantees* me zero odor (for at least 24 hours) and very little or no sweat. Using the hand held fan may seem extra but it’s so much faster than standing there with your arms up for five minutes letting it dry each time. I eventually bought powdered alum salt (the same mineral salt used in this spray) and added a small pinch to a seperate travel bottle with some of the Thai spray. Now 1-2 layers of 3 sprays does the job perfectly. I understand why they don’t use more salt in the formula, there’s only so much that can dissolve and before crystals form and clog the sprayer. Also too much may irritate some people’s underarms. But for me, I needed more salt being delivered, so I customized it to my needs and accepted the sprayer of my concoction may malfunction. Overall, it’s extremely effective, inexpensive, and the best deodorant product I’ve ever used. I finally know peace. I got 48 hours of no BO when I pulled my back and couldn’t fully shower the second day, which is a first in my 25 years since my BO started. I picked up absolutely nothing on day two, no faint BO at all! I’m actually at the point where I can skip a day and not stink. Which is WILD. No arm pit day spas or special rituals. Yes I do layers, but I’m not using a special wash just on my pits, I’m not using toner on my pits, I’m not doing clay masks or special scrubs on my pits, my armpits are not going through emotional growth hoping they stop stinking. I wash myself and use this spray. No more BO, no more swollen pits, no more musky paste or deodorant pilling in your pits by lunch time. My pits are essentially bare. Mineral salt for the win!! Over the past month and a half, I’ve tried just about every deodorant under the sun, natural charcoal creams, zinc, natural deodorant sprays, acid based deodorants, the crystal salt block you rub on. While many of them worked to varying degrees (Chemist at Play AHA Roll On is my second favorite, though I needed two layers for BO proof performance, the mineral salt block in third place bc I needed about 3-5 layers in between drying for that to be fail safe), this mineral salt spray has been my clear favorite because it’s the most affordable, easiest to apply and I can easily/affordably customize it to my needs with more mineral salt. Thats the only reason I took off one star. Because personally I needed more salt to do less sprays and less layers, which saves me time. And honestly probably bc my BO is strong. Sometimes I’ll also do a finishing layer with a natural spray deodorant like native or gymati. Works just as well. Cream and traditional stick deodorants will pill if you layer them on top of mineral salt. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this stuff!!

This product works well for me, however, only if used a certain way. My underarms and feet tend to sweat a lot, and I am very conscious about feeling and smelling clean. I also live a vegan lifestyle, so have always had to struggle with finding a hygiene product that works effectively for these body areas, yet is cruelty-free, vegan and natural. When I first tried Thai Crystal Spray a few years ago, I was not impressed because it didn't seem to work for me. I tried it again recently and discovered that it does work if used directly after a shower on clean skin (seven pumps under arms, and seven-nine pumps on feet and between toes -be sure shoes are clean as well). In other words, it does not work in taking away odor like a regular antiperspirant or deodorant if you apply it to sweaty skin, after exercising, nor does it work to take away foot odor if you are trying to apply it to sweaty feet after a day at work, etc. With me, I also noticed that it needs to be re-applied "several times" a day to "clean skin", if I am having a high-activity day or if the weather is warm. This requires me to wash my underarms and feet with soap, and reapply the seven-nine pumps. Again, my chosen activity or the weather temperature determines how often I need to re-wash and re-apply (reapplying to sweaty skin does not work!). I like this product a lot, and even purchased a second bottle. I especially love that it is not tested on animals, is natural for my body as opposed to the typical poisonous antiperspirant and deodorant, is earth friendly and is vegan. I also really like that it is a spray formula so that I can easily apply it to my skin/feet. It is not a perfect solution to my hygiene needs, but it is a good remedy until I can find something else that works better. My final comments are these: 1.) Re-applying it at work is more of a challenge because in order for it to work for me, I need to re-wash my under arms/feet with soap and water and follow-up with a fresh dose of spray. This of course only works if you have access to a restroom with single occupancy, so that you can wash in private. 2.) Spray the inside of your shoes too, to help keep foot odor at bay. 3.) Although the re-washing and re-applying is hum bug, my body odor would be "much worse" if I was using no product at all. 4.) I keep a bottle of this spray in the vegetable crisper section of my fridge. This keeps the preservative-free, water-based solution fresh, and the cool spray feels very good on a hot day. If you keep it in other sections of your fridge, the sprayer may freeze up and not work properly, as the temp is too cold for it. If storing it at work or in your bag, try to keep it out of the sun, and in a comfortable room temperature (again, best if kept in the fridge). 5.) Wonderful all natural product. Light, clean feel. Doesn't bother my eczema. Effectively keeps body odor under control in our hot humid weather. No residue on skin or clothing.

I live where it’s HOT, AKA the Arizona desert. It’s hard to find a deodorant that actually works, and even my Secret deodorant wasn’t cutting it for smell. I spray this on after a shower every day, and use a natural deodorant paste - I don’t smell EVER. And, I sweat about the same as I was before while using an anti-perspirant deodorant: meaning I barely sweat. If I need a refresh throughout the day, I spray a few more sprays and I’m good as new. This stuff works SO well, and one bottle lasts a long time.

This is the best deodorant ever! Only one ingredient, totally natural/non-toxic. I’ve been using it for years and recommending to all my friends.

I have recently had problems with swollen lymph nodes in my armpits caused by blocked pores and certain deodorants. They come and go on a regular basis and just when I believe I have found a deodorant that works back they come. I am a male, I have a fairly active lifestyle, I can sweat quite a bit and without getting too personal I would smell like an old onion if I didn’t take action (gross I know). So I did a bit of research which lead me to this thing called “crystal deodorant”, I must admit, I thought it sounded a gimmick but reading through other Amazon reviews I decided to give it a try and what a game changer, seriously, it is one of those products you want to run around and tell all your mates about, it’s simply fantastic. I totally agree with the other reviewer who describes it as spraying a fine mist of water under your armpit however a tip, this product if fantastic but it will run out within 3-4 weeks, the 4.25 Oz crystal stick does exactly the same thing and it will last you months. Back to this product, yes you still sweat but it doesn’t smell, there just isn’t any odour. No white marks on your clothing, no sticky feeling like when you use conventional deodorants in humid conditions and it really does last all day. I never had a problem with the nozzle on mine, it said in the instructions to run under warm water if the nozzle gets blocked, it simply never happened to me. When you first use it you might be tempted to spray extra on but don’t, 4 squibs is adequate. It is too early to say if it has stopped my swollen lymph node problem but either way, I won’t be going back to a normal deodorant again.

Highly recommend, you won’t get disappointed. I’ve been struggling with a strong odour for a year now I have tried many other products and no of those works but this! I have no odour anymore! It feels so clean and the best thing it’s that it’s natural!!! Loved it!!!
